Good evening!!

I apologise for the long delay in getting back to people regarding their enquires - there has been a lot going on.

We have some provisional dates for the Dartmoor Hill Pony Performance Shows Devon classes for this year! Once they have been firmed up, I will create some events for these. At the moment though, they should be as follows:

29th May 2023 - Dartmoor Hunt Support Club (Cornwood)
25th June 2023 - Torbay and District Riding Club (Redpost)
8th July 2023 - Liskeard Show (Liskeard)
10th August 2023 - Okehampton Show (Okehampton)
2nd September 2023 - Kingsbridge Show (Kingsbridge)
8th September 2023 - Widecombe Fair (Widecombe-in-the-Moor) - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SHOW CLASS ONLY
20th September 2023 - Ashcombe and District Show (Ashcombe) - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SHOW CLASS ONLY

We are working on this year's course and as soon as this is completed, it will be uploaded.

Lastly, anyone who does not have a Dartmoor Hill Pony Card - I am in the process of creating an online form to make the process of obtaining one much more slimline - more on this shortly.

As ever, any questions, please ask.

We have added another qualifier show at Redpost on the 6th August. Torbay & District Show.

We are working on the show papers for the Championships at Ullacombe Farm on 9th September.

Spooners Hunt Supporters Show at Yelverton was a washout with heavy rain, but there was a qualifier "Truelove Dreamy" in both the in-hand and ridden class. We hope for better weather next year.

The Dartmoor Hunt Supporters Club Show at Cornwood on bank holiday Monday, 28th May, was blessed with much better weather. Both Hurston Dash and Corndonford Freddie qualified, with Freddie being made reserve champion of the Mountain and Moorland classes.

We had a new face in the Hill Pony Classes was a chestnut gelding "Woody". From the ear marks on his right "off side" ear the breeder was traced, his Hill Pony card will carry the prefix "Dunstone" from the herd owned by Richard Mann, of Dunstone Farm, Widecombe-in-the-moor.

Woody qualified for the ridden championship and he can been seen in the picture here.

We are looking forward to the next shows - to which there has been some changes to the schedule so watch out for updates.

Unfortunately, this year there is not going to be a Lustleigh Horse Show so please ignore this in the events and as soon as i work out how to delete it i will - there will however now be a qualifier at Cordonford Horse Show which is a lovely little show - perfect if it is your first time!!
