We came back to work on Wednesday from the Christmas break, and in 3 days we had 7 dogs not turn up for their appointments. I can not afford to run my business and pay staff if people simply don’t turn up for appointments.
I don’t want to implement a deposit system, but may have to at some point in the near future if this continues.
Please, if you can’t make your appointment, let us know and we can fill the slot with dogs on our waiting list.
Times are tough for all of us and I work very hard to keep my small business running.

🌟SATURDAY CLOSURE🌟

Dear customers
From 9th January 2023 we will no longer be opening the shop or grooming parlour on Saturday’s, as footfall does not cover the increased cost of heating and lighting.
We are hoping to be able to re`open on Saturday mornings at some point in the future.
Thank you for your continued support, and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to huge increases on running costs and supplies, I will be implementing a price increase on all grooming services from 1st January 2023.
Our top priority will always be to provide you and your pets with the absolute best service and care possible.

Posh Paws will be closed for the next 3 Saturdays. Open as normal in the week. Unfortunately there will be no customer orders or deliveries for the next 2 weeks.
I’m off on a long awaited holiday to the Galápagos Islands.
Please be patient and kind to my team who will be running things whilst I’m away.

Hope everyone is enjoying this glorious weather, and long may it last.

Could I advise my customers that are currently booked in, not to give their dogs a lengthy walk in the heat before their grooming appointment, as we have to use dryers after their baths and I’m concerned about possibly heat stroke.

COVID has finally got me.
I’m sorry to say that after 2 years of avoiding COVID, this morning I tested positive.
I have a duty to keep my staff and customers safe, so will be closing my shop and cancelling all my grooms until I test negative.
Sorry to inconvenience you all, but if anybody needs dog food etc, our chudleigh shop is still open. Pets Corner 01626 852273.
I will be ringing round my grooming customers sometime over the weekend to re-schedule appointments.
I’m feeling quite ill at the moment so please bear with me.

Happy New Year.
We are back.
Just to make you all aware, The phone line in the shop is playing up and you will get an engaged tone. The answer machine is not working either, so if you need to get in touch, please could you do so via FB. I’m working on getting it fixed as soon as possible…😊

Thank you to everyone who came to our charity dog wash. We raised £290. That’s £105 more than last year. The money will go to ELM Wildlife Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabilitation.
We would like to wish all our customers a very merry Christmas. Thank you for your continued support on what has been a challenging year.
Now time to put down my scissors and take a much needed break.
We will re-open on 5th January.

Once again on Christmas Eve, we are hosting a charity dog wash. All proceeds donated to ELM Wildlife Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabilitation. Last Christmas we raised £185, let’s see if we can do even better this year.
We currently have 3 slots left

Don’t forget we are also a drop of point that goes straight to ELM Wildlife.

❌ Coronavirus ❌

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately I will be self-isolating for the next 10 days. My son tested positive for covid yesterday.
All grooming has had to be cancelled, but the shop will be open Monday to Friday 10am until 4pm. (Closed Saturday 17th July)
We cannot do any home deliveries during this period.
