This is a confidence game called Ten Pin Bowling. The idea of the game is to introduce the dog to low levels of stress, this is the noise of the skittle falling over. With repeated exposure to said stimuli the dog builds resilience and there will be a gradual loss of responsiveness to the stimuli. Games like this help dogs cope & be more robust when there are unexpected events or noises in every day life. 3 D’s: Distance - Start the dog further away Distraction - Toys or Dogs or People Duration - Play for longer & varied times
