Practice a couple of things a thousand times and be consistent!
Notice I say very little to benji! I just use the command and that’s it! if you over complicate things and talk too much to your dog, they won’t listen!
All the snoots to boop 🫶🐾🫶🐾
I have been staying with this gang and brought them along to the dog park yesterday morning! 🫶🐾
I adore this dog!! He just loves learning new things and just wants please! ❤️
What a great morning we have had!! All three dogs have their own issues and everyone did amazingly well at advocating for them!
They all coexisted beautifully in the cafe and the majority of people respected their space!
Well done everyone! You should be really pleased with yourselves and your dogs!!
Here’s to the next one! Thank you toBrew & Chew Perth for having us!
My little super star Benji learning his new trick today in 10 minutes!! Arthur copying and learning it too ❤️
We are here already this morning waiting for our neutrality walk to start! Alex from Alex’s Dog Walks Dundeeis here helping with some training before we start!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
I love seeing this wee face every week!! Patsy is only 5 months old so there is no need for too much structure on her walks at the moment.
My aim at the moment is to just let her explore and sniff so she can then relax and enjoy her time out.
I always make sure I NEVER move forward when there is tension on the lead as this only reinforces this behaviour. A dog isn’t born knowing how to pull on the lead, this is a learned behaviour.
You can see I’m rewarding her for any eye contact I’m getting. This builds up the engagement I get with her and in turn build solid foundations for further training.
🍁🐾 I don’t see these pups very often but it’s always a pleasure when I do!! 🐾🍁
A bit of enrichment with the spotty gang today!! You can just make out the snuffling over the wind!!
It keeps them engaged with me and they listen more….which always helps with these guys 🐾😎
Benji’s heel work this monring!! I am so pleased with this focus!!
It’s a common mistake that people believe if you allow your dog to charge around on a walk, it’s going to tire them out! In fact, a shorter, structured walk is far more tiring and beneficial! Southend Dog Training
A little Tuesday morning slo-mo!!
