By microchipping their cats, owners can increase the likelihood that they will be reunited with their beloved pet in the event that they go missing.

Sherris Pampered Petz is ending soon AS a dog groomers anyway! 🥲 ❤️‍🩹 🐾 ….. a new pet business later in the year will emerge … watch this space.

It’s time to put the scissors down 🥹 after 18 years of dog grooming! minus odd elderly and odd nails, read below for more information! 👀

I started this without family.. or as the papers would say if you Google me (ex foster child) I ended it with a bigger family & support than I could of ever dreamed of! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every one of you who’s been apart of the journey!

Closing down will be one of the hardest things Iv had to do. Saying goodbye to hundreds of you and having to tell you all I no longer will be dog grooming is crappest part of this situation. I’m aware this means many dogs who have known me for a extremely long time will have to get used to someone else and They will, so all I ask is you remember Stopping has been something we have thought very long and hard about.

As many of you no, some not so much both of my beautiful children have Special needs as

Any SEN parent on here that has unique children will no just how many meetings, paper work, appointments, ehcps and time off goes into making sure there needs are met no matter how little or big. Just recently my youngest changed back to a reduced time table so she is not in school full time.

I also have been a dog groomer since I was 14 that’s a total of 18 years! but also there is only one of me and I have soooo many of you which is amazing but I can’t keep up between and to much on to hire someone etc, Incredibly lots of heavy 40kg dogs to I do! 😮‍💨💪🏻 I love my wolfies!

Right now the plan is to give up the business focus on being a career for a couple months for my daughter and son, and I’ll be very busy doing things for my youngest through her diagnosis/ehcp and much more as well as my sons extra needs, also my daughter about to start weekly occupational therapy and much more…

During my time off I’ll be exploring for my next big venture in work and I’d like to do something that works better around the kids needs.

This will be a new pet business starting in a few months 👀 watch this space…the page is staying as You all will be interested in my new venture hopefully 😁♥️🐾

Microchipping may come into effect later this year. With added benefits like nail clipping, cats as well. Also used to do rabbits and guineas so that may come back!

YES there is a Possibility of some mild dog grooming may be back later this year depending how all goes. This would only be small/medium breeds at a massively reduced amount of dogs

Engraving ID tags and so much more! I have endless ideas for this business! But i cannot start to develop on these till I take down the dog grooming side for now, I’m very needed by my littles 🥹♥️🫡

I also have a book Iv been meaning to get published 😳😁📚 🥰 to raise awareness for special needs children! I’ll finally have time to make it real 😍 Iv wanted to make it real for two years so now it’s time to put it first else I’ll never no!

I have a lot to give yet in this world and it’s the perfect time for a change while I’m still young enough!

I can’t begin to express how emotional this closing will be. From a abandoned little girl who felt no place in this world… to a huge amount of love and care and support by you all 🥹♥️ many clients have picked me up when Iv fallen, constantly reminding me just how loved & supported I am! Watched me create my own special family and build a life…. You all will always be apart of my journey and hope you remain apart of mine in many ways.

For anyone who remembers the business was opened thanks to me proving to the PRINCES TRUST that I have people wanting me to open a business… I went to panel even with a 8 month old baby… and I got approved for 3k to open my first proper salon! She’s come a long way since then hasn’t she….

I’ll never forget the film crew from London and the clients who took part and got all wired up! ♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started a very long time ago,

Iv taken many work experience kids on many i still no and love now who are adults and moved on. 2 have even opened there own businesses ⭐️

I have announced already to all the Plymouth dog groomers of my closing, they all have been incredibly helpful, from offering there shelf’s for my new products, to catering for my clients needs. To thanking me for my long service 🫡 🐾♥️🥹 so supporting and lovely!

Due to this I have at hand a range of dog groomers local and some in range of areas.
I have one to one groomer-no cages
One to one with crates able to take more than a few.
Multi groomers who’s work together ideal for handicapped dogs to.
I even have a mobile groomer!
Don’t hesitate to ask me for there details they are waiting for you guys and they are aware so many will be looking and they ALL are taking on.

I have a pre list I can send you :)

They all are aware I’m a no restraint salon and I refuse any muzzles unless absolutely needed.

Not one dog on my books uses a muzzle 😎🥰

I pride myself in my connection to your dogs.

Many have said they agree. Some use some. But have stated if you explain your dog has never needed it they won’t use it.

Please tell them you come from me as they can contact me and I will explain the routine/needs of the dogs should they need it. Let’s face is some of you guys Iv seen ever 4 weeks for 10 years 🥹 I no them ♥️

Saying this I will be doing the odd dog this year due to there age, they are to close to the rainbow 🌈 bridge to be going elsewhere and I have a duty of care! It’s the right thing to do 🥰Odd nail cuts etc, Please do not get upset that Iv helped some this year!. When I’m mobile I may come back in future for some smaller breeds again this won’t be decided till later in the year!

I won’t be giving up any tools or equipment! Who knows what will develop later this year… I’ll always be a dog groomer I don’t lose that skill/qualification, No matter what!

I have a dear lady (who’s I’ll still be visiting ♥️) Iv been doing for free. I walk there and back, for years and everyone of you has been completely undercharged by myself. I keep all your prices at a very very unbeatable price. Your about to find this out yourself….. another reason I cannot continue as I refuse to charge the going rate…. For me I didn’t do it for money sense but I also no unless I charge the going rate I’ll not get anywhere further in life and unfortunately I have the same overheads.

I like to think for the past goodness knows years Iv saved many dogs and cats and rabbits and more from very awful situations, Iv seen the worse of the worse states and conditions and I pride myself in just simply helping them…. I do not judge, I educate.

I like to help, I’m so thrilled and Proud myself that I managed to help so many people out over the years! If I new you was struggling with money, needs etc I’m first to help.

You all have said “god your to nice, you do to much”
It’s who I am ♥️🫶🏻 but I’m only one person and need to do this for myself to 🥰

Iv done my bit, I don’t regret it I just wanted to leave letting you all no the deeper parts to my job. I stayed true to who I was and I hope I leave behind a legacy where people look back on and remember the good I did as well as my crazy chatty at times emotional self 😅♥️♥️♥️🤣🤣

🎄❤️ feeling the love thank you percy & ringos family for this amazing gift 🎁 ❤️ 🎄 I always say and always will HUMILITY before VANITY… meaning I will not De Matt a dogs matted area if i deem it to matted. Not because it’s easier to clip it away as that’s actually not always the case, it’s to save the dog any pain and discomfort, to save them from having a bad experience, to save them full stop ✋! Re start is kinder and some situations more often than you think the matted area becomes so bad it would generally be extremely bad of me to put a dog through de matting no matter how qualified and experienced I am, I will also do my best to save there tails and ears but my main priority is to make your dog comfortable and pretty of course.. if you want them long and fluffy you will need to be brushing and most importantly combing them through between grooms… like you would brush your hair between hair cuts right 😀❤️🥰

I started this over 10 years ago and it takes some serious time I must say now as this year you guys have broken my record!

There is a cancellation waiting list with a few on. You will be contacted if a space comes up. No newbies!

Please give me notice if you cannot make your appointment as soon as possible even if that’s a hour before hand just keep me in the loop so I can help others get in. You will not get back in December.

During the weekends & last week upto my last day on Friday 22nd please check wait time on day. Be prepared some will need collecting by max time 2hrs to make space for others, I may run late myself depending conditions of dogs in. You will be told in enough time and all I ask is no pressure of rushing please. I’m always happy to hold if needed to extent if there’s space 🥰🎄 if you need them done by set times that’s under 2hrs please let me no before hand so I can ensure they are ready for you!

I will not have time to re book everyone’s next appointments on the day 🖊 , you will be contacted with your next 2024 appointment once Iv locked up and less manic but I will do as many at pick up when can, still let me no how many weeks and days rather as I note it down for when I find your next slots to suit 😀❤️

Bank transfers should be paid before or on collection. Else I have to remind many and I may forget so please ensure this is done to save me chasing at this busy time 💕🎄

🤍 🐾 remembrance post 🐾🤍
Not to long ago I found out two very close and long standing clients passed away, Iv also found out over the past few weeks a few have due to age and health related reasons, it never gets easier and I honestly won’t forget them and privileged to of been there groomer. Along with the owners I get to no, please never be a stranger….
🤍 firstly… sweet Charlie, around 8 years of grooming, every 8-12 weeks I got to pamper you! I wouldn’t say he adored it but he was the most best behaved boy ever! He put up with it 😅❤️! Everytime I had to move him to do another body part he followed in suit and never ever once pulled away, he never needed a harness or collars on the table he was simply perfect. I grew so close to him and his wonderful mummy and daddy thank you for trusting me with your boy and He will forever live on in our hearts, sleep tight dear boy!
🤍 secondly.. Marley, now it’s been over a decade! Since before my 1st, 2nd salon he actually started coming to me longer than most,
He used to adore his grooming at home 🏡 ❤️ he was so behaved and cheeky!
Unfortunately when I got the salon he didn’t approve of it and needed his mummy to stay while he was groomed as he hated his legs being touched. In ten years we never failed to get you done and you always made us laugh with your grumbles under your breath 🙊😂❤️but we got through it and I always made sure no one else was in the building so you didn’t get nervous or distracted.
I was due to see you the day after you passed and I’m gutted I missed our final pamper (wrestle) but you went surrounded by love and his family have been wonderful to us in many ways over the years we will always be here ❤️
🤍 Poppy- the sweetest elderly Shihzue! Now forever back with her mummy 😇 will miss you sweet girl!
🤍 Benji boo you had the kindest of hearts just like your dad! I’ll never forget any of the beautiful souls I met and I get to no them so so well!
To many to list but no your all always on my mind and I’m always here

🥰😍 🥵 I have the best clients 😘 yes I did it bare foot in the end 🤣 I feel very appreciated thank you! Just what needed after a long day! I started cutting dogs around 7.30am and ended at 4pm back to back! But knowing just how much they all need it right now I’m happy to help 💞💞 this is the beautiful Luna who comes in with her mummy sky every regularly but they blow so often! Both so so hairy and need lots of de shedding before even cut and this just how much I got out with my shedding tools on just one 💪🏻🐾 now time to relax 😮‍💨✂️💪🏻❤️❤️🐾🐾
