A 'keeping in touch' day today 🤝🏻

Congratulations to the winner of the Retired Lancashire Police Dogs raffle: Paul and his Springer Spaniel Ellie! I'm proud to say over £500 was raised for this fantastic charity and I even had my son Luca helping with the install today!

I'm still very much in the midst of renovations on our new property (photos to follow when ready!) and hoping to get back out doing the showers soon. I will personally contact everyone who has made an enquiry when ready, but if in the meantime you are a new enquiry or just want to touch base please just drop me a message 😃

Hey Everybody!

Just a quick message to let everybody know my situation at the moment! As a lot of you already know I work full time for the Fire Service and do the showers on my days off. Throw into the mix we are moving house next week into a property that needs a significant amount of renovation meaning I'm going to have to take a short break from the showers. I have a list of current enquiries that I can hopefully squeeze in here and there but I'm looking at Autumn time when I get back out properly! Thanks for your patience and as always for your continued support!

So following on from a previous post, Dirty Dawg Outdoor Showers are happy to show our support for the Retired Lancashire Police Dogs charity by donating one fully installed outdoor dog shower.

Sue and the team do an amazing job and with our own household being very much members of the blue light services we were more than happy to help out raising funds for this amazing cause!

Please follow the link on the shared post to purchase tickets for the raffle. Prize is a boxed shower, fully installed within the Lancashire area (RRP £200) or a boxed shower kit (RRP £150) if you live outside the area so it's open to everyone nationwide.

Two different installs done yesterday. Both styles of shower can live next to your existing cold outside tap, so you can still fill them water bowls up in the summer for your pups!

Our newest recruit Fergus got the first use of his new DD shower today! His human Katy said he used to hate the cold hose but as soon as he realised the shower was lovely and warm he couldn't get enough of it! That's what we do this for! Enjoy Fergus ❣️❣️❣️

Shower fitted today for Shelley and her pup Maverick 😎 Shelley's kitchen was on the front of her property and had a busy pathway in front. The box being lockable was a perfect solution to any potential tampering and is nice and tidy too!

So after a few people have asked about the feasibility of having the dog shower in a protective box, today I had a go!

And I'm buzzing with how it's turned out!

Big thanks to Paul and the amazing Simba for agreeing to be my guinea pigs and also for providing the bacon butties! 😋

Going forward I am going to offer the option of the box which will be £50 extra, so £200 fully fitted (standard £150 still available) and they are also available with the mail order kits! I'd also be happy to explore the option of retrofit boxes too for existing customers (supply only). Please leave a comment on how you think it looks and any feedback is welcomed!

Evening everyone!

Just a heads up to take care of the showers in this cold weather! 🥶 It could go down to -5 tonight so please make sure you have drained those hoses and utilised the internal isolations where it was possible to get one on! I would advise completely disconnecting the hoses in this extreme cold and taking them inside!

Getting dog shower kits packed up ready to post out in the morning! We are based in Preston, Lancs and as such can't get to everyone we would like to! The kits provide all the major components you need for the shower, as a customer you would have to source a competent person to carry out the install. Kits are £99 posted (for now!) and even come with a link to a video of me putting one in! Drop us a message if this is something you may be interested in!

One of today's jobs 👌🏼 Customers often ask me if they need to do away with their existing cold water tap. Not at all! The shower can live nicely next to the existing tap and equipment like this one I did for Matt and his two awesome French Bulldogs!
