Lovely little neutral walk for Henry and covee the other day! Both very soggy and didn’t enjoy the rain (if you couldn’t tell) 😂

Yoda! Yoda came to us today to work on a bit of everything, he’s a little sharpie pup.
We worked on teaching him leash pressure and what it meant, as well as teaching him the basics for heel position via luring and rewards. Towards the end we were able to do some free shaping as he was willingly giving engagement with slack on the lead.
Puppies are quick learners so he should quickly pick a bit of everything up 🤞
August 21st-23rd me and covee will be going away, this is a Wednesday to Friday
Will let regular walks know asap to see if I can find cover for them or give time to find alternative arrangements 🙂
Very excited to see some of our dog trainer friends that live a little while away
I am also unfortunately not going away this weekend like planned, so we have space for some training Saturday and Monday
Rolo enjoying some yummy ice cream from Halfway pet shop
We met Sheldon yesterday for some training, reactive to people/dogs and a massive puller on lead
We found what motivated him (pate) and taught him that choosing to disengage from a trigger is the best thing ever. By the end of the session he was walking lovely with his owner, mostly ignoring people and dogs, he’s still got a way to go but already so much progress 😍
Lovely little walk with these 5 this afternoon
Building up Disney and puffy’s confidence slowly and steadily ❤️
Look who we met up with for a walk this evening, we were already going to be down that way so offered Henry and his owner to join us!
And just look how amazing he’s doing with covee, he initiated play towards the end but quickly decided that covee cannot reciprocate! But that is an amazing start for him and he’s coming a way ❤️
Disney and puffy, two dog reactive dogs:
Disney and puffy have quite a few confidence issues and reactivity to other dogs, they currently do 3 walk and trains a week with me and join me out with other dogs ❤️
They’re walking absolutely beautifully and their confidence with other dogs is getting so much better
This darling girl is reactive to everything, car doors opening, people, dogs, bikes etc.
Luckily she is incredibly food motivated, we worked on her disengaging from anything she’d be reactive to and having owner communicate more and handle the lead differently.
She has a way to go but for her first session she did incredibly well, we walked past a group of children on bikes and was able to have her disengage from other dogs and people
Henry! Human and dog reactive boy
We took him to the field today and gave him an hours run around and then he joined us up round town, we came across other dogs, lots of people and although there was some stress he did absolutely fantastic and hung out with another client of mine, Arlo.
Lots of big rewards for him as he did incredible and he’s finally using his nose!
Well done mr Henry! ❤️
Lovely session with this little guy, working on some reactivity in the caravan to outside triggers such as people and dogs walking past. We worked on calling him back in away from triggers as well as teaching him to check in with mum when triggers arrive.
We’re also planning for our next session to brush up on basic obedience such as recall, lead pulling and so on, it never hurts to go back to basics every once in a while
First session with buster the leash reactive frenchie, who at the start of the session had no desire to disengage from a dog. Once clearly communicating through the slip lead and building engagement through treats and praise he was able to walk past Wilbur like a dream, only a couple minor reactions but he moved on from them like a dream and was ready and willing to engage again.
You guys know I love my puppies! 5 month shiba puppy who was a little overwhelmed by the world, didn’t want to engage with owner.
We worked on building up some drive for the treats and slowly building up that engagement, by the end he was following mum round asking to do more, we worked on his heel position from stop to start, as well as maintaining eye contact and such.
He’ll be a lovely well rounded boy ❤️
Little carrot! Working on her with being a bit vocal when stopping and standing still (little miss impatient)
Just communicating to her that she needs to tone it down and settle within her environment, we have another session scheduled for Monday for this sweet girl🤞
Sweet Louis who couldn’t really be around dog’s without reacting, working and walking around Wilbur on his first session
Having a little neutral butt sniff here and there, all we need to do is build confidence and some more communication through mum
Training with Miss Beau!
Working on some nervous reactivity and lead pulling, she did amazing!
All she needed was a little guidance and more confidence ❤️
Well done to these two today, severe pullers who just zigzag everywhere, we taught mum how to handle the lead better as well as some extra communication between mum and dogs
Still got some work to do before we walk them together as a duo but they’ll 100% get there, incredible for their first session ❤️
Met mister atlas today! This boys going on to be an assistance dog but before that we need to work on some excitement reactivity and lead pulling. He’s very food motivated but when he sees a trigger the food doesn’t always work
So we tried a different method with a ball and he loves it, we’re going to teach him how to work for the ball and using it to redirect his attention
He’s such a lovely tempered boy and will definitely go far ❤️
This sweet girl on the left has started attacking other dogs within the household
Today I just spent some time observing them and talking to mum about preventive measures we can do for now, as well as needing to build some more confidence around loud noises as she redirects her anxiety onto the other dogs.
She needs to learn to relax in the evening and settle down, we also did a bit of work getting her comfortable with a slip lead which we will move on to the harness now ❤️
Also a picture of her lovely little daughter who just wanted all the fuss
Back out with Disney and puffy who are reactive towards other dogs. Just building up their food drive outside the house so we can give them consistent rewards that mean something as well as building their confidence around dogs
They are doing absolutely incredible 🫶
I will be upping training prices starting from next month for new clients, clients who have already booked in the past will have their original prices.
I want a price that reflects not only the time and money I have put into my courses that I have done to learn and progress as a trainer but also the ability I have as a trainer.
I spent 2 years in college and then continued my studies for a couple years before starting my business.
I am still consistently paying and spending time doing more courses to keep my knowledge updated so I can be the best trainer I can be.
Thank you for your understanding
And that’s another photoshoot done!! Thank you again GRCphotography for always taking photos of my boys (and me) in our best light and angles 🤣
I had so much fun with this one even if we all did come out incredibly muddy
If any of my followers are considering a photoshoot definitely do it and give Ryan a message 🤞
If I’m running late today it’s because my designated driver kinda sucks 😂
Busy day today, ended the day with getting very mucky 😩
A lovely time at all about dogs today! Covee was a little stressy and found the event very triggering stacking! But we used the yellow space zone to help him decompress, he met a few(new) friends and had a lovely run around with them

Look at how amazing kenzo is getting on, before this session he couldn’t walk with a muzzle on, now look at him. Walking to heel, not trying to get the muzzle off and fully relaxed on his walk 🙌 We also went up against a bike which before he would’ve chased! Such an awesome boy
Wilbur meeting the scary dinosaur ft An alert How a real assistance dog should behave! Not Phased whatsoever
Having a little bit of fun with covee, although he can do all this without the ball I’m now working on him picking up his feet a little more
This is my second walk with saber, he’s typically a huge puller and hard to control but look at him go here! Long way to go but wow, he’s a very quick learner. With some extra communication through the slip and positive reinforcement he’s coming along nicely 😍
Doing some work with storm, working on keeping his bum and position in instead of out when going into fuß. Something that needs to be sorted before he moves onto his BH and other trials
A video of coco doing some training, she used to lunge at the end of the lead whenever a dog walked past, she’s just excited however we built up engagement with her owners and then added a calm dog who wasn’t fussed about her. You can see her choose to disengage from Albert, incredible work ❤️
Covee having a bit of fun doing some more bite work again! Becoming a lovely all rounder ❤️
Dr David Martin - is bang on & explaining why a number of dogs that aren't XL Bullies may get caught up in current legislation as they look "of type". He also highlights the impact of police kennels on dogs 👏
A video from our weekend away, very impressed with how he settled into the environment for his first regionals show and here’s to many more just as successful shows! I’m very proud with the SG result, now back home to practice for our BH And a massive thank you to my handler Carl for handling him so well.
Would you believe a month ago a dog couldn’t be within eyeshot of Riley without him flipping out! He’s been doing absolutely incredible, he’s been reactive for the past 3 years of his life so this is amazing progress ❤️
Working on this gorgeous girls recall, she’s doing so awesome. and I love her new little haircut she now looks more like a cocker 🤣
When you know you’re not allowed to sniff the food but love the smell of bread 🤣 He cracks me up sometimes
A video from when we saw max, this boy is doing so much better. The videos his owner sent me, he was scatty and all over the place. This is much better from him, I think Wilbur was a big confidence booster for him. Next time we see him we’ll try and brush him, as he tried to bite his owner last time we’ll just take it slow and steady.
Working on our emergency downs again, it’s really starting to click with him! We have a post about why we find it emergency downs important if you want to check it out. You can hear in my voice how impressed I am with him, he’s blown me away today! His reactions are quicker than last week. I’m so lucky to have such a driven dog
I lovely video from yesterdays job, it is so nice to see this girl and her mum walking relaxed and happily. She’s nervous of walking new routes and starts pulling and crying on the way home. We decided not to push her too much this session. But had Wilbur, a relaxed and calm dog behind her which she was not bothered about. I cannot way too see her again.
