This older male hedgehog was brought in by a member of the public two weeks ago because he was out in the daytime. He has been treated for ticks and lungworm and has put weight on well so he has now been released into the back garden. We love a happy ending!
๐ ๐พ We have lots of donated childrenโs books ready to be taken to school for #WorldBookDay
Just 50p each and all the money goes to local animal charities!
Just pop into reception ๐

Hi,
We thought we would give you another update!!
We are so close to moving in (in the next few weeks).
We are just waiting now for a few bits of flooring to be completed, and some building regulations to be signed off! And then we can welcome you all in! Oh, and we have to move everything from Central Street to our new address, which is...
11A Market Place, Ramsbottom, Bury. BL0 9AJ
Please make sure we have an up to date email address, so that we can contact you when we move!
We are so excited!
Here we go....
So,
As you are all aware, we are moving into new premises in the near future.
Our new address is likely to be 11a Market Place (to be confirmed), and we will be behind the old Grants Arms (now Rosebridge).
Our phone number will remain the same.
Here is a video from August to show how the work is progressing. We are lucky to be working with a fantastic team of builders (@wavecourt), and architects (@equilibrium) who are both very experienced in the veterinary field.
We will be sending an email to all our clients when we move, please ensure that we have your up-to-date email addresses!
Hi all,
So, we are progressing well to our new building.....
Therefore, we would like you to see where we started, several months ago!
The original internal part of the Grant Arms had long been damaged, so we are building a completely new veterinary practice inside this.
We are so looking forward to welcoming our first clients through the new door later this year.....
Please follow, as new updates are soon to come!

Updated with the answerโฆ. ๐ง
Yes this is a tick. It was found on a hedgehog. The green object is a tick remover which allows easy and safe removal of ticks. Itโs important to use the correct items to remove ticks to prevent the tickโs mouthparts remaining in the skin.
Ticks can carry diseases. If you would like any information about products to prevent parasites or the tick removers, please contact the surgery and speak to one of our team
โ Can anyone guess what this little beastie might be? โ
A bonus point for the green object next to itโฆ.

This is Billy who belongs to Anna N, one of our qualified nurses
Billy was hand reared by Anna when he was tiny. He visited our branch recently and was happy to show everyone his โpoorly paw.โ
He has a skin issue that flares up occasionally, and is feeling much better now

Hello, Many of you with older dogs will have been to Anna's Puppy Classes. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 ;pandemic, Anna has not been able to run these as usual, so instead, she is making a series of videos to try to answer some of your puppy behaviour questions. If you have any questions or areas which you would like her explore, please post in the comments.
