It’s been a successful start to our season here at Waen ganol competition stables for our team
starting early in December…

Garlance flash Jac has come out on top form- Robyn-jayne Hadland

Gwynedd Welsh pony and cob show- 1st open ridden C and open ridden champion winning the preformance medal.

Bsps area 17 - 1st open ridden C&D qualifying RIHS.

North western Welsh pony and con show- 1st open ridden, open ridden champion and supreme of show winning the preformance medal.

Ynys Mon Welsh pony and cob- 1st ridden C, Welsh ridden champion and supreme of show winning the preformance medal.

Whilst we are still getting to grips with Sangrug Dun in gold owened by Lisa Hadland he stood a respectable 2nd at Tudor rose Welsh pony and cob in the open C&D class

💫We have decided to re-introduce our very popular FULL retirement livery.
💫FULL, PART and DIY livery ( STALLIONS ALLOWED)

Our services are ran professionally and under full experience by mother and daughter who regularly compete and have horses welfare at best interest!

💫stable - straw or shavings

💫 grazing - the fields are suited adequately to suit the horses need weather that be more grass or less, these fields are rotated to avoid over grazing.

💫 hay, haylidge, straw and shavings are included and adequately supplied.

💫wash room These will be hot baths with top products for when needed most and able to be fully dried off under the solarium - reduced rates for liveries

💫 clipping at reduced rates for liveries

💫vet prescribed medication and supplements can be given by ourselves. Every horse will have a written care plan and strictly kept too.

💫 24/7 care round the clock, with a great team of vets, physio’s and farriers we work closely with.

Rose is a 8 year old Welsh section C mare standing at 13hh.

This mare has been successfully shown inhand through out her life,She was professionally broken 2020 and has recently started competing under saddle in the novice circuit.
Rose has 3 balanced paces though still green spending most of her time outside of the arena hacking.

Rose has jumped some small jumps and has proved to enjoy this.
We feel rose has potential for the Junior classes or back at a stud as a brood mare having her first foal appox 4 years ago.

Sire - Cynheidrefawr Heathcliff

Della isn’t your typical Welsh D she has fantastic ground manners never bolshy, kicked,bitten or pulled. Can be handled on the ground by children and will stand all day to be fussed and scratched and cuddled.
will happily live in or out and is currently unshod and no issues and is great to catch.

Della has 3 beautiful paces under saddle, and definitely not one to bolt, not sharp or spooky very light in the mouth and has a great pop and loves to jump and hack, canter across fields and will go past most traffic trailers, tractors etc.

However Della will be tolerant with most capabilities of riders bouncing and kicking about on her back for the odd ride however strictly NO NOVICES as della can throw a buck. I haven’t seen there to be any malice in this and usually just makes us all laugh. It’s not an I’m Going to get you off buck or a Broking session at all and usually find she stopes when she does it.
She isn’t consistent with this and doesn’t do it every time she’s ridden more of what we believe to be hormonal nappy behaviour.
So happy for viewers to come for multiple viewings
For this reason Della will not be sold unseen under any circumstances.

At just 5 years old I feel she’s got a bright future ahead of her with the potential to be a real fun pony for someone wanting a project

Lady Hacks alone, and in company, first or last, past farm machinery, hgv’s, livestock and other horses.
Most of Lady’s schooling has been done on grass therefore is fine in open spaces, she has a snaffle mouth.
Lady can still be green through her transitions and her canter is still yet to develop with her having trotter in her lines She’s still yet to figure out her gate.

Lady has no vices ,No lumps, bumps or sarcoids.

Lady is great to handle, will stand for hours to be brushed/pampered

Has been ridden and handled by 12 year old and seems to be absolutely fine with children.

Loads and travels well, both alone and with another horse

Good for farrier (shod in front), dentist and vet

Lady had Has seen small rustic fences and logs, shows lots of potential in her jumping.

Has been out to a fun ride over the last few weeks and jumped everything asked of her, led the ride and waited back behind, rode through fields of livestock.

she is now ready to go and enjoy the season. Whilst she would make a fantastic happy hacker, I also think she could be a great mother daughter share, she would excel at fun rides, local shows or as an endurance pony.
