Thought I'd re post this.. Never giving up looking for you little girl β€οΈβ€οΈ we miss you so so much ###
Yesterday (28th July), exactly one year ago, at around 8.30pm, I was finishing off tidying up when I heard a familiar meow behind me, It was Oreo. I knew exactly what she wanted as soon as I looked at her. She was telling me "mum! it's time to go look for Spyro and Trixie!" Every evening she would come and help me round up her sister and her adopted baby brother to come in for the night (if they weren't already home). I said to her "you'll have to wait sweetheart, I'm just finishing off tidying up" she meowed a couple more times, I gave her a bit of a fuss and kissed her forhead, she then trotted off to go find her siblings. Little did I know that this would be the last time I saw her beautiful little face π
At about 9.30pm Trixie and Spyro both came inside, I assumed Oreo wouldn't be far behind them, when 30-45 minutes passed by and no sign of her, I started to get worried, so I headed out to call her. After 15 minutes of calling, there was still no sign. Started to get more and more concerned as this was not like her at all. I returned back inside, thought to myself "she might have just got distracted while chasing a butterfly, moth or something. Il call her again soon"
A couple of hours went by, I had been back and forth countless amount of times. At this point, I was in floods of tears, Karl reassured me that everything will be ok and she'll turn up soon. Hours and hours went by still not a thing. At around 2.10am I returned home again, a few moments after closing the door, I heard a sound I will never forget. A very loud yelp, Karl said it could have been a fox, but I was certain it sounded like a cat, it stopped so abruptly, it instant made my stomach flip. I rushed back out the door, praying it was her, but there wasn't a thing in sight.
After a sleepless and teary night, we got talking to our nextdoor neighbour, he told us that at 2.20am his ring camera had caught someone stood outside our house next to the car. At first I thought it could have been me, when I'd been going out looking for oreo, but he said it definitely wasn't me as the camera had recorded me returning back home only 10 minutes beforehand. Unfortunately, the footage too distorted to make out who this person was.
Our worst fears are that this person may have had something to do with her disappearance.
The thought that any harm has come to our little girl makes me feel sick. The horrible scenarios that keep playing over and over in my head are a constant torture π₯Ί I can't bare to think of her terrified and trembling in fear.
I have done absolutely everything i can to try and find our fur baby, the hardest part is not knowing if she's still even alive or not anymore. Life just isn't the same without her π I made a promise that I will never give up hope and never stop looking for her.
