It’s been a busy month at Doodles Happy Tails.
Early morning and late evening walks. No walks in the afternoon as it’s way too hot for their little paws and their body to cope with the current temperatures at the moment.
We have plenty of water bowls, cool mats and fans around the house, usually Ruben the rare breed Stabyhun is hogging the one, he literally plonks himself right in front of it 🥲
Had the pleasure of looking after this cheeky munchkin for 8 nights.
Rocky the rockstar has been entertaining us and all the dogs he met while here. What a character and hope we have the pleasure of your company again

First nights stay for Ringo 🐶
Anxious little fellow but got him to know he was in a safe place and settled in with the rest of the crew. At 11 he still has some cheekiness in him. Ringo is also still recovering from 2 operations to repair 2 cranial cruciate ligament tears (ACL) so he was cared for & watched constantly.
Yesterday was the last day of Blu's stay with us.
What a bundle of fun he turned out to be.
Blu and Bella became besties and turned into cheeky double trouble.
See you again in 4 weeks dafty
My Fully Enhanced DBS certificate (blocked out so it can’t be duplicated) can be seen fully on your meet & greet.
It’s a full police check delving right back into my teenage years. It’s completely clean and it’s updated yearly. I used to work in the vulnerable adult & children section.
It’s not a basic DBS.
It’s sleepy time.. They’ve all been up since 5am plus they woke us up at 12.30am for the loo 😴 Excuse the floor but every dog that comes here loves to demolish the rope toys.. highly recommend then as they also clean your dogs teeth 🦷

We’re both having a great time on the beach and keeping our dad on his toes chasing after us 🐾🐾
5am walk on the beach then back to bed with our mommy 🐾🐾
We had the pleasure of looking after tiny Meg overnight as a trial on Thursday whilst their mommy & daddy went to see the foo fighters (jealous) 😂 She was absolutely golden and fell in love with our Dougal, very brave chasing after them both through the house within 10 minutes of being here. 🥰

Our dogs are walked on cool pavements between 5am & 7am and late evening when the sun has gone down during the hot weather. During the cooler weather they’re also walked in the afternoon. All walks are around 1 hour long for the fit dogs. Shorter walks for the senior or injured who’re recovering from surgery or doggies that only need walking once a day or two short walks per day. All dogs are kept on a leash whilst in our company, we swap to longer training leads once we’re in a safe zone so they can run and have a sniff around safely. Take care of your fur babies paws 🐾 🐾
Today is the Doodles first birthday.

Our regular Paddy has been coming to us since he was 3 months old.. He’s a good boy and has been trained well by his Dad Tony with a tiny bit of help from us too.. He’s part of our little family, it’s lovely to see him from a little puppy with floppy ears and feet to a gentle giant, he’s only 8 months old and plays so gentle with my Molly & Dougal.. He’s another I’d love to keep.. I grew up with a GSD and owned a long haired one when my boys were babies. They’re so loyal and protective.. Gorgeous dogs 🥰
The return of the adorable Cooper the Labradoodle.. I’ve said to Cherie I’m keeping him 😝 He’s such a sweet boy, he’s the same shape as my Molly, Dougal is broader 🥰
The cool mats are out for the doggies and Chester is taking full advantage of them

Today was a 2nd meet and greet with Benny the old English bulldog. He’s coming to us in May for a 3 week holiday. Our Molly sent him flying, didn’t faze him at all 🥰🐾🐾
