It's break time for this little groomer 😴 when you do what you love, you don't realise you need a break until your body screams at you 🤣🙈 10 hour days with your babies, the weekly washing, deep cleaning, competition prep and appointment sorting with little to no off time in 5 months has got me pooped. I need time with humans, doing human things, and more importantly quality time with my own floofs away from the table 💗 Happy week everyone! OFFICIALLY QUALIFIED! Over 300 hours clocked, average of 2000 words written on every dog I groomed in practical (about 50) over the span of 15 months, countless tired nights banging away on the keyboard, and early mornings bashing my head off a wall in a coffee shop trying to write about zoonotic diseases and everything else in between and now the certificate has been ordered!! I always wanted to be qualified, infact in this industry it is not a legal requirement to have any knowledge of dogs at all - though its wise 😄 Ideally I'd have loved to have done it prior to opening, but time was not our friend with a pandemic and all that jazz! I have availability for Emmipet this week! (We didn't have time to do mabels teeth in the salon this week, so the kitchen bench it is!) 4th July- 4pm and 5.15pm 6th July- 11.30am and 5.15pm I'm SO excited to get going with this!

When I say it makes no noise, I mean it makes no noise! It took me about 20 minutes to work out if it was working the first time I used it! When the light is green the technology is at work, when it's off its off. There's no scrubbing of the tootypegs involved, making it easy for our floofs to handle 🥰 Starting 4th July!!

Happy Monday! Hope you've all had a glorious weekend! How lovely has it been to have that extra hour on an evening 🙌 I've had a cancellation tomorrow morning at 8.30 if anyone would like it! Also have Tomorrow at 4.30 for a short haired deshed Wednesday at 3 for a full groom Friday at 11.45 and 2pm both for full grooms I am completely full next week and we are closed on Good Friday, the week has very limited availability aswell! So we've had a little project day in the salon today! 🙊 my little space is coming together to be a super cosy and cute area! I absolutely love it! I've got more plans coming, hopefully it'll be able to happen swiftly over the next couple of weeks! We will be the prettiest salon in shields!
