Minnie and Milo are all booked in for full surgical dentals next week and to restart their vaccinations.
Did you know small dogs like Chihuahuas can be prone to mouth issues and dental disease? Their little crowded mouths mean that plaque can form quickly and food gets trapped. Surgical dentals are not cheap but we didn’t want to rehome this pair without getting their teeth sorted and hopefully they will have many more years free of discomfort.
We pay all our own vets bills and fundraise go cover our costs, you can help here 🥰💕

Welcome to Milo and Minnie, the Chihuahua mix brother and sister who have come in sad circumstances 💔 their owner had passed away and family decided they could not keep them and with only an hour’s notice we brought them into foster.
They are approximately ten years ago and a little bewildered at the minute but I’m sure it won’t be long before they settle with their new friends.
Both dogs need dentals, a restart on their vaccinations which haven’t been done in 7 years and their nails trimming back but otherwise they are a cheery little pair and we are so happy they are safe.
We fund all our own bills and vet costs, you can help us with Minnie and Milo by sending a donation here, no matter how small we are very grateful

Both of these dogs had no collar or name tag and their microchips were not registered - while it worked out ok in the end, these dogs could have been knocked over or stolen. It took two hours to get them home and this could have been avoided if they had a collar and name tag on AS PER UK LAW.

Found this morning Sunday 5th October at Churchtown lights, Cambridge Road - pair of small dogs (one possibly Terrier mix and one Shih Tzu) - no collars or leads, safe in the care of Little Legs.

Please check your garden fences and side gates when letting your dogs out for a pee, the wind and weather have been awful this weekend and determined dogs can sneak out of the smallest spaces.

This festive season, we’re spreading love to pets in need 🐶🐱. Our tree at Penny’s House will be filled with special tags, each representing supplies needed by local animal charities—or someone in need caring for pets. 💌

Here’s how you can help:
1️⃣ Pick a tag off the Christmas tree at Penny’s House 🎄
2️⃣ Buy or make* a present 🎁
3️⃣ Drop it back at the café (wrapped!) with the tag attached 💖
4️⃣Your gifts will be delivered by Santa Paws to all the good girls and boys

Together, we can make tails wag and hearts happy this holiday season. 🐾💝 Starting November 5th!

If you’re a charity or you know someone in need of pet supplies DM us and we can add some tags to our tree for you 💕🐶
