A delayed post with all the drama of the last few days 🤣💕🐶
This gorgeous chunky Staffordshire Bull Terrier is Edie who came to Little Legs from her breeder to find her perfect retirement home. Edie had had one litter of pups but then developed a prolapse so they did the right thing and spayed her at the same time as her puppies were delivered. After making sure she was fully recovered she came to us so we could find her the absolute best new family.
We had the perfect home lined up and it was love at first sight when they met, scroll to see Edie’s happy face! It was worth the seven hours spent driving to collect this girl to see how well she’s settling into her new life 💕🐶💘 thank you Bernice and David for supporting us xx

Always surprised when we are supposed to be a nation of animal lovers and yet there seem to be so many hateful people around? Imagine a world where the people doing nothing for animal welfare have so much to say about those who do? 🤷🏻‍♀️

What a sad day 💔

Today for the first time in over five years an adopter has taken a dog and then stated they have no money to pay a small donation to us 💔 then when we have politely messaged and emailed to chase it up she has stated she’s got no money and if we message again she will go to the police 🤣🤣

We rehomed Milo on a home from home basis as he was not getting along with a resident dog in the family. His new adopter offered to come quickly and collect him and due to logistics we allowed her pick him up from his current family. She then said she would pay the money when she got home, she didn’t. Then she said she would pay it the next morning, she didn’t. Then she said she has no money and would send it in two weeks. Then she said as a gesture of goodwill she would send £20 a month. Then her final take is that it’s a donation and so discretionary.

Who thinks we should name and shame with screen shots? 🙋🏻‍♀️🐶

Handsome Milo was originally adopted a couple months ago and is a very happy and friendly boy, however it’s becoming clear he does not enjoy sharing his home with other pets so his adopters have made the decision to get back in touch with us to help. Milo is five years old and would love to be an only dog with someone who has plenty of time to give him, he loves going for a walk and can be quite strong on the lead and is good meeting other dogs out and about.
Milo is up to date with vaccinations and been castrated. If you think Milo could be the boy for you then please message us with some details and a phone number for us to get in touch 💕🐶

We are feeling very grateful today at Little Legs 🥰🥰🥰🥰 for the last few days we have had some amazing deliveries from our Amazon wish list, puppy pads, cleaning stuff, dog food and treats. Colin and his long term resident friends send their love and thanks to Southport branch who did an Easter collection and sent over 250 tins of their dog food to us 🐶🐾😍
This makes such a difference to helping feed the dogs who will likely stay with us for life due to health or behavioural reasons.
You can buy an extra tin at the check out and pop it in our bin for us to pick up 🐾🐶
