What a sad day 💔

Today for the first time in over five years an adopter has taken a dog and then stated they have no money to pay a small donation to us 💔 then when we have politely messaged and emailed to chase it up she has stated she’s got no money and if we message again she will go to the police 🤣🤣

We rehomed Milo on a home from home basis as he was not getting along with a resident dog in the family. His new adopter offered to come quickly and collect him and due to logistics we allowed her pick him up from his current family. She then said she would pay the money when she got home, she didn’t. Then she said she would pay it the next morning, she didn’t. Then she said she has no money and would send it in two weeks. Then she said as a gesture of goodwill she would send £20 a month. Then her final take is that it’s a donation and so discretionary.

Who thinks we should name and shame with screen shots? 🙋🏻‍♀️🐶

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Milo the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Handsome Milo was originally adopted a couple months ago and is a very happy and friendly boy, however it’s becoming clear he does not enjoy sharing his home with other pets so his adopters have made the decision to get back in touch with us to help. Milo is five years old and would love to be an only dog with someone who has plenty of time to give him, he loves going for a walk and can be quite strong on the lead and is good meeting other dogs out and about.
Milo is up to date with vaccinations and been castrated. If you think Milo could be the boy for you then please message us with some details and a phone number for us to get in touch 💕🐶

We are feeling very grateful today at Little Legs 🥰🥰🥰🥰 for the last few days we have had some amazing deliveries from our Amazon wish list, puppy pads, cleaning stuff, dog food and treats. Sadly there is no note in with any of the orders for us to say thank you. So if it’s you, let us know! 💘🐶🙋🏻‍♀️🐾

Colin and his long term resident friends send their love and thanks to Southport branch who did an Easter collection and sent over 250 tins of their dog food to us 🐶🐾😍
This makes such a difference to helping feed the dogs who will likely stay with us for life due to health or behavioural reasons.
You can buy an extra tin at the check out and pop it in our bin for us to pick up 🐾🐶

Tonight we paid a visit to our friends at the 2nd Southport Kew Scout Group who gained their Fundraiser’s badge by organising a family quiz night. The money raised was split between us and the amazing ⭐️
We spoke to the Scouts about our rescue and answered lots of questions about our dogs. Along went long term residents Camille, Beavis, Barney, Brenda, Mabel and Simon who enjoyed all the fuss and the treats.
Thank you to leader Anna for welcoming to your lovely group, what a fantastic group of children. They are a real credit to you and their parents 👦🏻👩🏻‍🦰🐶

🎉🎉🎉 Happy Birthday to Little Legs Margot, AKA Moody Margaret, Moo Moo or the OG terror of the house 🤣❤️
Moo Moo came to us back in 2021 after multiple biting incidents at home, I did wonder what on earth I’d done when she was dropped off as she was so wild but now almost five years later she’s firmly a part of the family.
Moo Moo won’t ever be rehomed, she’s a crank. She likes three people and that’s it. But this morning she shared a packet of birthday ham with her friends and got the birthday fuss.
Another dog I defo didn’t want but is here to stay 🤣🤣🙋🏻‍♀️ we love you MooMoo ###
