Had the bestest amazing day yesterday 😁 I’m buzzing and so were my clippers 😂

Haven’t entered a competition for a while, but I thought why not? Mastergroom is on our doorstep. This was Luna’s first competition and she did amazing, although she very distracted and fidgety (which I expected) 😂 We placed 2nd in Salon Freestyle 🎉 still shocked this morning.

A massive thank you to and for judging. You are two lovely people and wish you all the best. Your feedback is worth everything! ☺️ also a big thank you to for sponsoring the event.

Had a great day yesterday at the very well organised Shear Sucess 🥰 Thank you so much Stacey and Jo learnt so many valuable tips for future grooming competitions. Couldn’t have been a more perfect day including a goody bag, Rosette, informative presentation and the food was amazing especially the cake 🤤 Met some lovely groomers and dogs. Brushing your dog stimulates the surface of skin promoting blood circulation, distributing natural oils and importantly removes dead hair which means less fur around the house. It prevents painful matting, we all know how it feels when someone pulls our hair or if we get a knot in our hair. It’s a great way to become familiar with your dogs skin/body so you can spot anything unusual (lumps, bumps, parasites) that may need a visit to the vet. It also keeps your dog looking good 😉 Top tips Spray your dogs coat with conditioning spray before brushing as it helps to prevent coat damage and knots. If your dog doesn’t like being brushed just work on one area at a time, for example one leg on the first day and another leg the next day etc. Be patient and keep brushing sessions short. Dematting spray can help to detangle matts. High value treats are always a good idea to reward good behaviour. Try and brush your dog everyday or at the very least every other day. Happy Brushing!
