Been super busy recently that’s why I haven’t been active ! Sorry people. This is Paco a rescue Doberman who was reactive to both people ( only slightly ) and reactive to dogs. I’ve done a few half days now with Paco and credit to the owners they definitely did the homework I set🤣 he is like a different dog ! Doesn’t react to people or dogs now, excellent results and love watching what was such a nervous dog, due to its previous life in Romania, grow confident again and follow directions👍🏻
This is Nova, a 9month German Shepherd. Nova’s original owners neglected her she was extremely under socialised and couldn’t even walk on a lead properly. She was fearful, nervous and cautious of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. My first session with her I put her on a lead and she ran round me in circles barking as if she hadn’t a clue what to do with herself.
After teaching her to walk nicely on the lead right next to me I then started boosting her confidence along side socialising her slowly ( so she doesn’t get overwhelmed ) in all environments.
This video is Nova after 4 full day sessions with me ! In a busy market with other dogs, people, noises and smells ! I’m very proud of her and it honestly means the world when I can help a dog change like this !
Big shoutout to the new owners for working hard with her and showing her the love she deserves 🏆
This is Ru, a 7 month old Cane Corso. I was messaged by his owner who was concerned about his reactivity as he was barking like crazy at people and even lunging to bite !
Ru got booked in with me for a whole day session, I met the owner and Ru and went for a walk around the local estate to see how he was. At first Ru was even trying to bite me ! He was pulling and genuinely reacting to everything including cars, pedestrians and even noises in the distance.
As Ru became more comfortable with me being there I took control of his lead and started training. After giving him direction and letting him know clearly what is and what is not acceptable on a walk he started to react less and less. Half way through the day I believed he was okay to take out to a more busy environment as he took to the training really well.
This Video shows me walking around solihull town centre with him. He isn’t pulling he isn’t reacting and he isn’t trying to bite anyone ! He still has a long way to go but what a change in just 1 day 🏆
So this is Jack, he spends most of his time on a farm with his owner and lives a good active lifestyle. Jack gets nervous and anxious in busy environments due to the fact he is used to a rural setting so me and his owner have been working together to build jacks confidence in these busy environments!
In this video jack starts off walking nicely by my side but as there is more foot traffic he decides to start making his own route, as I notice this I stop walking apply a gentle correction and he acknowledges it and looks up at me. at that point I start walking again but notice how Jack is back to being next to me as apposed to making his own route through the crowd.
If I had let Jack carry on making his own route it would definitely start to make his anxiety and nerves rise as he has to make so many decisions for himself. If I lead him he has no decisions to make and this takes a big weight off his shoulders, walk confident with your dog and lead them.
My Personal dog RJ at 10 months old being everything I hoped him to be and more👍🏻CainesK9 RJ🐕
This is Hunter, when he came to me he was pulling on the lead 24/7 and he was play reactive to the point he would bark and lunge across the street dragging his owners around just so he could play with other dogs ! Even though he is not even slightly aggressive this is not acceptable behaviour as it’s dangerous for the owner, himself and other dogs. After our first session I knew he would pick it up quickly as he is very bright🏆now after 5 sessions with him the dog reactivity is almost gone ! He doesn’t pull anymore on the lead and he is super engaged with whoever is handling him ! Thanks to the owners working hard on the things I showed them at home in between sessions we have seen a huge improvement in Hunter. 🐕P.S he’s one of the happiest dogs I’ve met🤣#dogtraining #dogtrainer #labrador #dogtrainingtips
Here we have jack who needed to become more comfortable in busy town environments, he is mainly used as a farm dog and is used to rural settings. I had a 2 hour session with him in the centre of a very busy town ! At the start he was slightly nervous and cautious but as I built his engagement with me and his focus he became much more comfortable! Here we are training in a extremely busy environment with Kids, people, live music and other dogs. Very proud to see the training being able to transfer everywhere and for Jack not to get distracted by other dogs along with everything else ! @adventues_of_brian_hunter #dogtraining #dogtrainer #dogtrainingtips
This is Jack the collie, jack and his owner came to me on a 8 session package that I offered ( 8 1-2-1 sessions). Jack had great foundations and that is all thanks to the owner who had set him up to be a great working dog at the farm ! My job was to fine tune jack and add a ‘heel’ and a lighting fast ’lie down’ and also a solid ’down stay’. This video shows jack in the 6th session with me and every week I had seen improvements 👍🏻 now jack will lie down instantly no matter the situation, Jack will heel off and on lead! And jack will down stay without fail ! Really enjoyed working with this intelligent dog and the things he can do now thanks to the training and perseverance of his owner are amazing. Might see him in competition soon 👀 his instagram handle is @adventues_of_brian_hunter
Just a hand full of things my boy can do🏆7months old and getting better every day📈
Update on my 1-2-1 sessions with these 2 cockerpoos (champagne male 7years) (black male 7 months). My client wanted both dogs to stop pulling on the lead so she and her husband can enjoy taking the dogs out and make it less of a chore.
My first couple sessions I took both dogs out individually and worked on getting them to stop pulling and to walk nicely to heel. I then advanced it to adding ‘wait’ which can be used in many situations such as when your greeting someone or crossing the road.
After I had achieved both dogs walking to heel no issues I moved on to teaching them both how to walk to heel but this time with each other! At first they kept tangling up and racing against each other to be infront but with some good consistent training we have achieved both dogs walking nicely to heel and obeying commands👍🏻
RJ my Belgian Malinois at 6 months old🙌🏻 he’s going to be a wonderful example of what a belgian malinois can be when trained, raised, loved and exercised properly !
My client has asked me to get both of her cockerpoos to stop pulling so she can enjoy her walks with them more, this is my 2nd session with both dogs. I had great success on the first session with both dogs individually and I did in fact start the 2nd session with both dogs on there own just to refresh there memory🙌🏻in the last 20 minutes of the session I worked with both the dogs together as this is what my client wants to achieve👍🏻they both still need some more work but I’m very happy with there progress and responses to my training! Look forward to revisiting and keeping up the good work
