🔶BEST BRUSH to use at home for your short haired breeds
🔶WE RECOMMEND A RUBBER KONG ZOOM GROOM , to shift all that dead hair 👍

I get a lot of clients asking me what the best brush is to use on there short haired breeds , the zoom groom is my personal favourite that I use myself in the salon every day , couldn’t do without them and it’s the easiest to use at home too , nice firm short strokes and it all falls out like snow 😀

Please be carful if your walking your dog round Carly hill area my customers dog has just been savaged just now a little Westie so badly the poor little thing has just had to be put to sleep 😢, other dog off leash came running to hers. I’ll add the pic of the dog later if I get it , it’s a staffie /xl type brown colour , so sad poor dog and family , absolutley terrible what’s going on all these dogs getting attacked they are heartbroken 😢😢

It’s that time of year for springers lots of calls coming in for springers this last couple of weeks ,so we will be doing a DISCOUNT GROOMING TRAINING DAY on Monday with our Trainee Stylist Lucy , if your already booked in and want to transfer to the training day just send me a message

£30 for a all in full groom including , bath , nails , ears , analglands , groom & haircut
all haircuts will be gone over by me personally at the end of the groom 😀

Dogs with fleas

We do not accept dogs with fleas if we find any on your dog , we will call you to come and collect your dog and ask you to treat it and bring it back in a couple of weeks once the fleas have had chance to die off , it normally takes around this time for the fleas and eggs that have hatched to die off , I stay behind in my own time to fit you in as a extra so you dont have to wait until the next available appointment , I dont have to do this but I do this to help you not have to wait

It’s thankfully not very commen that we get many dogs in with fleas but when we do we have no choice but to ask you to collect them unfinished , it’s not fair to the other dogs in the salon and the owners of the other dogs if we carried on with the groom , I dont want a infested salon so I am thorough at all times , most of the time we see the fleas when bathing so you will get a call when the dog is still in the bath and we will dry them off as much as we can in the bath until you arrive , we cannot bring them back into the other room to dry once the fleas have been disturbed by the water otherwise they would be hopping off all over the salon , we get as much drying done as we possibly can in the bath where they are contained

We have to charge you for the groom even if the dog only gets a bath and dry please remember the time we are taking on picking fleas off waiting fir people to arrive spraying after you have gone it all takes time , and we have to charge fir the loss of the grooming space that someone else could of had , I can’t loose money that I still have to pay in wages because of a dog that hasn’t been treated , it’s the owners responsibility to ensure your dog doesn’t catch fleas , however we understand that these things happen and certainly don’t judge if a dog has fleas , we just ask for your understanding on why we can’t carry on with the groom

I spend a lot of money on flea spraying the salon on a weekly basis as a precaution as I dont want my own dogs catching fleas off other dogs that come in or anyone else’s catching them , I have my own dogs that come in on a daily basis and keep the shop s***k and span and if we do get a dog in with fleas the shop is sprayed again ,

Please if you think your dog has fleas let us know so we can check them on arrival , or cancel your appointment Within 24hrs so we have time to fill your space
