**fire alarm now disabled, back to work unless the water starts running down the walls which fingers crossed it doesn't! **

Current situation, roof leaking, smoke alarm blaring. Waiting on electrician to hopefully make safe the electrics then will update on appointments for this afternoon and beyond! 11am, 11 45 have been cancelled so far. 😭😭

We're off to the lake district tomorrow for little Molly's first holiday (here she is trying the pumpkin hat on 😆)! We will be back on Wednesday 😁 Anyone wanting nail trims please pop in this afternoon 2-5pm.

I'm still working through everyone's appointments for next year I haven't forgotten you 🐶 I can only get through around 7 people an hour so it's very time consuming, I'm doing my best to be as quick as possible and give everyone what they want 🐶🐶

While I'm here can I also just ask that people don't come back to collect your dogs before I've called you to say they're ready to be collected. I've nearly poked the eyes out of around 10 dogs this week when owners have come in as I'm finishing off their faces! I know people think it's saving me a job by not having to ring you but it really makes my job 10 X harder! I can't get a nice finish when I'm working on a dog that's jumping all over the table. I will call you as soon as your dog is ready 🐶🐶

This job entails a serious amount of time pressure and I try to get most dogs completed in 1.5hours but I'm not a robot and sometimes it takes longer! Very matted dogs, hairy/matted dogs dogs (Cockerpoos/Cavapoo), late drop offs, dogs weeing/pooping, having to answer the phone, walk in nail trims and walk in enquiries all take time and push my grooms behind sometimes. I'm not going to rush to get dogs finished incase owners turn up early so please just know ill call as soon as your dog is done.

Obviously I do have regulars who I know will be done by a specific time in which case I do tell you to just come back for that time. But in the majority of cases when I say "I'll call you when they're ready" that doesn't mean "just come back when you fancy and wind your dog up".

Ps this isn't aimed at anyone in particular! It just seems to be something that is happening at least twice a day nowso I just want to explain why it's not a good idea 😅

2024 BOOKINGS - PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU MESSAGE ME

I am closed the following days.
Week of 18th March.
Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May.
Week of 24th June.
Wednesday 14th August.
Week of 16th September.
Wednesday 23rd October.
Wednesday 4th December.
Closed Xmas eve until January 2025.

I am open Wednesdays-Saturdays.

I strongly advise that everyone books for the full year.

Anyone booking for Xmas week must be due that week and must have their appointments for the rest of the year.

Please TEXT me 07896148876. I won't keep up with comments or Facebook messages. I need you to text me so I have everything in one place.

The easier you make it for me, the sooner I will do your bookings. Please send me the following information...

Ideally specific dates and rough times you'd like booked in on those dates. This makes it very easy for me to get you in very quickly!

Alternatively tell me how many weeks you want to go between your appointments and best days and times. If you're doing this I need to know when your last appointment of this year is so I can work from there.

The more flexible you can be with days and times the better.

If you message me saying "just the usual" you will be bottom of the list as I have to dig out your client card, work out when you were last booked in, figure out what days and times you like etc. Pleaseeee make it easy for me 🙏🙏🙏

As you can imagine this is very time consuming so I usually spend an extra hour every night after work booking you all in. It'll take me a good few weeks to work through everyone but I won't have forgotten about you! I won't reply to your message until I've done your bookings 🐶🐶🐶

HOLIDAYS

We are closed from 10th - 20th September for holidays. Anyone wanting nail trims please pop down before then 2pm-5pm weds-sat.

Can I also remind people that I need at least 24 hours notice of cancelation and ideally at least 2 days to fill your space. I've had 3 cancelations for today alone and 1 for yesterday so I'm now down £160 this week already.

Next appointments are from 12th October and December is almost full 🐶

I am taking on some new clients but no Cockerpoos/springerpoos/cavichons/ show cockers unless you want nice short practical haircuts! I don't have the time slots available for all that fluff!

I will make an announcement on next year's bookings when I get back from my holiday or I think it might finish me off at the moment 😂
