At Streetly Vets we are committed to providing the best service for your pets. As sisters Cora and Jamie know the importance of family and understand that your pets are part of your family too. Cora and Jamie are local girls who grew up
in Sutton Coldfield. From a young age they both knew that they wanted to become vets, following in their Grandfather's footsteps. With more than 22 years experience between them, they are glad to be serving the area that they call home.

It is with a sad heart that we will be saying Goodbey to Kerrie today. She has been with us since the doors opened 8 years ago… and before helping painting the walls ready for opening day! Kerrie and Crumble have been familiar faces to so many clients and their pets over that time and she will be missed by all the Streetly Vets family and community. Good luck Kerrie we will miss you 🐾

Stray young tabby cat was found by member of the public in Aldridge, near Fairlawns. Approximately 5-6 months old. No collar. Omitting the s*x of the cat to ensure confirmation with owner.

Autumn is finally in full swing, so with that in mind with are recommending our clients start thinking about fireworks season. If your pooch is petrified by loud bangs or fireworks make your cat crazy, then its worth following a few helpful tips from the RSPCA, found here: https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/general/fireworks #:~:text=Provide%20toys%20and%20other%20things,t%20see%20any%20flashes%20outside.
If your pet needs an extra help, with things like supplements or medications, we would recommend getting these in place well in advance of November. To discuss your pets needs, please call us on 0121 572 6527 and our team will be happy to help.
Just to let all our clients know we have a supply issue with medications coming from our supplier. This is a nationwide problem, so we are asking all clients to allow a few extra days when ordering prescriptions to ensure you don’t run out.
If you can, allow 3-4 days notice when ordering medications rather than our normal 24 hours notice.
We hope this issue with be rectified soon and we thank you for your patience during this time.

Update - unfortunately the lead we had for a home wasn’t the correct owner. He has now been passed on to the cats protection, who are providing him the care he needs until he is ready to rehome.
