I think I have sent out block bookings to everyone and been in touch with everyone regarding 2024 dates. If you haven't heard from me please drop me a message.
With regards to taking on new customers, I do have a handful of slots if people are flexible. I can't guarantee certain days every few weeks as I am quite full. Also I cannot take on any larger breeds as I do find it really hard working on my own. Please feel free to drop me a message and if I can fit you in I will ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi everyone I just want to let everybody know that from the 1st January prices will be increased. It will be around ยฃ2 to ยฃ3 per dog.
I haven't Increased my prices since 2022 but with everything for my business going up in price I have no other option.
I am still very reasonably priced even with the price increase. I hope you all understand and stay with me.
My 2024 diary is now open and I will be sorting all appointments. Any problems please drop me a message.

FLEAS!!!
I have had dogs in everyday this week crawling in fleas.
This has had a massive impact on my day. I have to deep clean before my next customer comes in and sometimes have had to cancel customers as I cannot risk fleas being passed onto other dogs.
I have spent over ยฃ50 this week just on fleas bombs and Spray to use every day to keep the room clean of fleas. Going forward if you know your dog has fleas please could you message me before the appointment to let me know so we can rearrange.
Any dogs that come in with fleas will be charged extra a minimum of ยฃ10 per dog as it takes at least an hour at the end of my day to deep clean. I obviously work from home and I don't want fleas brought into my house and passed onto my dog.

Morning! I now have very limited appointments for the rest of the year. I have a handful of appointments left for November and maybe one or 2 in October. September and December are fully booked. Please if you haven't received your new appointments let me know!
Please if you don't need your appointments let me know as I can easily fill them.
Also if you are more than 15 minutes late for you appointment please understand that I can't always carry out the appointment as I have other dogs booked in after you. If you are held up in traffic etc and let me know I will always try and accommodate you. Failure to show for appointments will require full payment before the next appointment.
This is happening quite a lot and I am loosing money or trying to squeeze customers in which then impacts the rest of my day and other customers.
Also if you miss your appointment I don't have space to squeeze you back in. Really sorry for the negative post, I understand its the summer holidays and people are busy but please understand this is my business and I have a list of potential customers I am turning away.

I am getting a lot of no shows and very last minute cancellations. Already I am Down ยฃ267.00 this month and I have only been back to work for 3 weeks. I simply can't afford to work like this.
Luckily I have managed to call in some very last minute cancellations but I am still at a loss.
I hate to moan, but imagine turning up to work and not being paid.

I will be sending all my customers some terms and conditions when making appointments so everyone is aware of my cancellation policy.

If you don't show up you need to pay the amount of the groom before attending any other appointments. I'm sorry to do this but I am loosing out as I have a waiting list full of people wanting to come to me who I am sending to other groomers as my diary is full.

So please make a note of your appointments and if you can't make it just let me know and I can swap.

Sorry to moan but I am just really fed up of showing up for work and not being paid!

My diary is completely full now for the year so I cannot make any more appointments. I di have a cancellation list in place.

The next few weeks are my busiest of the year and I am Working a lot of extra hours to make sure everyone gets an appointment.

Please can you make sure you turn up to your appointment or give me 24 hours notice if you can't make it so I can give somebody an appointment off my cancellation list.

Any no shows will need to be paid for before making any new appointments for 2023.

Also if you have an appointment booked in for the rest of the year and not showed to a previous appointment payment needs to be made before turning up.

Sorry I have to do this but I have had a lot of no shows the last few months and I have lost hundreds.

I hate writing these posts but I have had 4 no shows in the last week, this means I have lost ยฃ180.00 in the past few days. This is a lot of money out of my wage in just one week and I am sure nobody would appreciate turning up to work and not being paid. This is what happens to me when people don't show up.

I don't take deposits but going forward any no show appointments will need to be paid for before making or attending another appointment.

I do have a cancellation list but when somebody just doesn't show up it doesn't give me time to contact somebody and time for them to get to me before my next appointment. Please please please if you can't attend your appointment just message as I will easily fill the space.
