What a pleasure having with us over night for “Scruffs Nursery” 🍼☁️☺️✨ One of the truly best feelings in setting up Scruffs has been your trust in us with your most treasured fur babies, knowing they’re safe, happy & cared for like our own here at Scruffs.

It has been so good for Bert to be settled with us this tiny that now he has a home from home whenever his fur parents are working, have plans or trips away! 🫶🏼

Friday walkies with Nugget, Maple, Indie & Darcy all making new friends! Dogs are naturally social animals, and playtime and positive interactions with other dogs is important for most dogs to encourage brain development, social connections & behavioural expectations. ☺️🦮

Tuesdays Doggy Daycare Gang 🐾☀️

Although these pics were at feeding time in the garden, the dogs spent most of the day in the cool shade of the house. It’s super hot out there this week, which is lovely for us but not always so fun for our friends in fur coats. Swipe for a temperature guide on taking your dogs out to keep them safe in the heat.

Remember, not going for a walk one day won’t harm them but going for that one walk might do just that. ⚠️

When your dogs are with us, our home really is their home too. Sunday spent listening to the live music at Town Gardens with Indie, Darcy & of course Rosie.

Todays team at Scruffs - Milo, Rosie & Indie. With Indie & Milo meeting for the first time and becoming besties straight away enjoying a day playing together, a nice walk round Old Town and happily having their dinner together before home time too. 🥣🐾

We reccommend you supply your own dogs food if they will be with us over their mealtimes to avoid any digestive upset, with your consent we will of course happily give them lots of deserved treats during the day! 🦴☺️

Boarding at Scruffs - Nugget is a regular here at Scruffs for overnight stays when his human is away! We have a indoor private bedroom in our house just for our fur guests; filled with fluffy beds, blankets and even their own sofa for the most cosy, comfortable sleepover club. Liddies exploring on her walk with Steve at her first day at Scruffs today! 🐕

A walk for our fur friends exercises their minds as well as their bodies. By things like exploring new paths, sniffing around, seeing wildlife and meeting other people with their pets, this is all great mental stimulation for your dog that they just cannot get in the same fenced area all the time or sat at home! We ensure they are entertained and exercised throughout the day with Scruffs. ☺️🐾

Indie showing Bluey the ropes on their walk for his first day at daycare today. 🐾

Another huge benefit of doggy daycare is the socialisation of your dog with other breeds regularly. With plenty of playtime, opportunities to meet their BFFF (best furry friend forever) and exercise, your pup will be coming home very happy and relaxed. Meaning you too can relax and enjoy cuddles after a long day at work. ☺️
