Love this quote it's so true when I groom your fur baby for year after year when they run over the 🌈bridge my 💔brakes again and this year has been one of the hardest not only losing Murphy but also losing a few customers aswell I really hope there isn't any more 😭

Tru had a good deshred mud treatment today once we got her in the salon she wasn't fancying it but loves a bath and blow dry to get all that hair out and 🤫she smells insane
And I feel stronger each time I do her as she doesn't like to get on the table but today I managed to lift her on there 💪💪fitness is paying off

Please please make sure your dogs are up-to-date with their flea and tick prevention treatment not all products that you can buy from the shop work. I highly recommend you visiting your vets and getting a tablet form as this way You know the fleas will die as if I do find fleas on your dog/ dogs there will be an extra charge as I then have to fumigate my salon and also make sure that I don't bring them home and pass them onto Murphy who is a very old dog. He is still treated but I just don't like to bring them home. So please please please make sure your dogs are up to date?

Are you itching yet? I know just the mention of flea’s makes most of us itch!

Are you seeing fleas on your pet although they've been regularly treated? Read the following for an explanation:

Did you know that 95% lives in your home, yes 95%!

Flea eggs can live in the environment for up to 2 years before hatching, they need the right conditions to hatch and that is often this time of year.

Why you may ask? Most likely cause is that most of us have started putting the heating on and we're possibly inside more due to the weather. Flea eggs need movement and warmth to activate hatching.

Therefore it’s always recommended to treat the home environment with a house purpose flea spray that lasts 12 months.

You must do every room in the house even if pets aren't allowed upstairs. Read the product instructions carefully before proceeding to use. Ideally vacuum the rooms first, put heating on, use the product, leave rooms closed for at least 1 hour, ventilate rooms and re-vacuum the areas. Vacuuming and heating helps the eggs hatch.

Note - As good as household flea sprays are, they won’t kill all flea eggs in one go, some eggs are stubborn. If you see fleas, 2-3months later, acting frenzied it’s the product working. The product will continue working as long as no carpet cleaners have been used (washes away the product).

Never use household flea sprays on your pets.

Ahhh teddy creed you have been the kindest loveable boy since I started grooming you 10 years ago and when we looked after you for your mom you were loving your walks and playing with Murphy but most of all you was just so lovely run free teddy go and bark at all the others up there 🌈🌈🐾🐶I'll miss you so much you was with me every 6 weeks for 10years 😭so you were like my own you always loved your baths and little walks to the salon ###

So proud of teddy today I managed to groom you and clip your nails without the help from my dad I have now learnt that you actually like my singing 🎶so let's see if it works next time or if it was a fluke today it's definitely a happy Saturday 😜 definitely the hardest dog I have but I will keep learning with you teddy 🧸

Mabel came on Saturday for her first hair cut what an absolute pleasure it was to do her such a good girl 🌟🌟🌟

Get puppies used to being handled when they have had all their injections it's so important for them as it's going to be the main thing in their life which if you are lucky to have them for say 15years if they find grooming stressful it's going to be hard 15 years of there life and yours but Mabel was a dream

I have had 10 days off on holiday which I think I'm entitled to like everyone else we need a break to recharge, I know things happen out of the blue that is out of your control sometimes but if I could remind everyone that if you don't show up for your appointment there will be a charge for not letting me know in 48 hrs as I have a waiting list of customers desperate to get in with me as I do only work on my own but I also do the admin and look after my family at the same time so if I know that you can't make your appointment I can arrange for someone else to have that but I can't do it if I don't have enough time, for anyone wanting an appointment I will try my best to get back to everyone asap please bare with me thank you

This is Syd who came for her bath and teeth cleaned as her breath was quite bad despite them being bad with plaque, her first treatment they came up brilliant she will feel better now that horrible plaque is off them with ultrasound no need to go to the vets when there are other ways of doing it which is better for the dogs as they don't need to be put under as you can see in the photo of Syd she's quite content with having it done 👍

I hate this part of the job 😭 when I receive bad news and today it was about bailey what a shock to hear that you've crossed over the🌈
Iv groomed you ever since you was 9 months old every 8 weeks bailey what a fantastic boy you was you use to pull your dad down the side of the salon every time jump straight on the table you truly just loved the whole groom the bond we had was so strong you was more than just a customer bailey 💔💔run free now give all the other dogs a kiss from me loved you like my own 🫶thank you for all the kisses over the years R.I.P xx
