Busy week!! We have one of our walking dogs hear for her holidays and she is loving all the walks. The normal walks have also been busy.

It's been all go here. Lots of lovely regular clients walks and few dogs come to have sleep over trials and again my guys have been so good with them.

Having to deal with this on a daily basis and it's not enjoyable. My clients dogs safety is paramount so I will always put on leads if I see other dogs, cyclists or walkers approaching.

It's not OK to say oh my dog is fine, how do you know that, not all dogs like each other! My dogs are under control and on a leads and it's taken a while to establish groups of dogs that like each other and get on well. So if a strange dog walks right into the middle of them it might not end well.

So for saftey and some common curtesy please put your dog on a lead to walk past others. Also save the torrent of abuse as well as its not nice to have to deal with that daily either.

That's the run of boarding finished, last dog just been picked up and happy owners that there dog was so chilled out at ours.
Little down time before next boarder checks in. Trial nights are now open again. 🐾🐾

Another boarder settled straight in last night. Joined the normal group walks today and had a really good time.

We only really started to offer boarding at the beginning of the year and have been busy but I would say if your booking your holidays for next year. Get your dates in quick as we already have some bookings.

If your thinking about it please see pinned post about what we do re boarding and please get in touch if your thinking of booking. Don't want to disappoint like I had to do this year.

We have been super busy here. Along with the normal walks we have had a few trial sleep overs in preparation for holiday stays.

Friday we had a little cutie stay with us and she settled right in after meeting the gang for the 2nd time.

We also had a visit from another new client. Again she isn't sure how to act around others and can get quite excitable so spent some time chilling with the gang in garden before heading out for a walk. This girl has joined the regular walks as well and is coming to stay with us on her holidays.

Finally yesterday we popped over to see a couple of dogs that we let out and feed occasionally and it was nice seeing them again.

So today will be spent with our own gang and catching up on paperwork and messages. Happy weekend folks🐾🐾

This beautiful little girl joined the gang last week and I'm really looking forward to seeing how she develops.

There is still few walking spaces left if you would like your dog to join the gang. Small groups with suitably matched dogs.

Lovely little girl hear on her holidays and has settled right in. Lots of walks and plenty of rest perfect mixture for a chilled out holiday. ❤️🐾

Both came out very happy and relaxed. Penny was not phased with her groom. Leah is and always has been slightly nervous but she was very happy to have her groom.

What a week!! This lot sure know how to enjoy themselves!! Gutted to be letting one of my best dogs go but I no longer cover the area. He sure had a lot of fun today. Yes it was a lab day today with the odd cocker in the mix 🤣

I lost my working cocker spaniel in Oct 2019, she is the reason I decided to set up Going Walkies. I found it difficult leaving her every day to go to work. I know that feeling very well so when your dog is in my care it will be treated like one of my own and will have fun on their walk. They will be returned back to you having had the best love and attention.
