Unfortunately Fuzzypeg escaped from her carrier yesterday morning before her appointment with us. There are currently no sightings in the area around us so please report any thing you see. 👀

❔Does your dog have smelly breath?❔

Nurse Charley brought her dog 'Pickle' in to have her teeth cleaned under General Anaesthesia.

Pickle Like many dogs does not like having her teeth brushed regularly, so has developed a build up of plaque on her teeth which has caused her breath to smell.👃

❔What happens when a patient comes in for a dental procedure?❔

First they will be administered a pre-medication to prepare them for the procedure containing sedation and pain relief drugs. This allows them to become relaxed ready for their procedure. Once under general anaesthesia, the veterinary surgeon inspects all the teeth and begins cleaning and polishing them. In Pickle's case, Vet Ralph confirmed all Pickle's teeth were healthy and none required extraction.

Check out the before and after images of those teeth! Those are now some pearly whites!

Once both sides have been examined and cleaned, then the patient is recovered. Pickle woke up sticking her tongue out!👅

🌟Pickle recovered well and was much happier with fresh breath post op!💖

☕️Who needs coffee when these beauties are the perfect way to start our morning! 🌅

😍We cannot get over how cute these puppies are and how brave they were for all their vaccines and microchips!

It’s very tiring coming to the vets so they all fell straight to sleep afterwards 😴🥰

❤️‍🩹Beautiful Belle came to see us last week for a dental procedure. Everything went great and she woke up quickly, Nurse Charley was trying to clean up Belle’s face post dental and this was Belle’s response 😂

Unfortunately rabbits and guinea pigs do not make the perfect match as they use different methods of communication and require different diets so they cannot be housed together. ❤️‍🩹
