You may have seen Amber’s video on the treadmill last night… that was her 4th session.

Below is a video of her first session. A very worried Amber.

We took our time with this beautiful rescued girl to build her confidence up. We constantly assess our patients to ensure they build their trust up with both the machine and the therapist to ensure they feel safe and comfortable at all times.

Amber has improved in confidence with each appointment and she now walks beautifully on the treadmill. Her owners are noticing that she seems much happier and more comfortable while out walking.

We work with all temperaments of animals, each is treated as an individual and we tailor our rehabilitation to their individual needs. No two patients are the same.

Our training room where we have offer many courses on canine first aid and hydrotherapy , we have also had the University of Tennesse here porviding a course and have many who attend for placement provision .
A great room and set up for course provision and just love teaching subjects so close to our heart.

Our Reception, we welcome you in with a smile and a 'well hello you' which always produces a waggy tail and we see you out post session with a smile and a treat for just being a good boy or girl. We offer customers advice on the next stage and if needed will update the referring vet on your pets progress.

Our Aquatic Treadmill the latest version of this machine, which has helped us greatly improve the gait of so many dogs who attend unable to walk. Spinal are supported and mobilised to walk in this water treadmill whilst pet parents standing at the front can encourage them with cheerleading enthusiasm to 'stamp, stamp' those limbs. The team approach always works so well and we encourage clapping and praise, and honestly dont mind the tears of joy...we shed so many ourselves seeing them succeed!

Our lovely pool, heated and filtered to a very high standard as we have the latest in ultraviolet light sanitation system. All dogs and cats that use this are pre-showered, wear if necessary a jacket, and post session showered and shampoo'd. All sesssion in the pool are with one of our qualified hydrotherapists who will guide and encourage your pet to get the very best out of the session to improve health and mobility

Our Centre, set in glorious Aberdeenshire countryside, it is tranquil and calming here. We have a lovely field in front of the centre for walking your dog(s) on lead and a picnic table to rest on.

Bentley having a well deserved rest after his first under water treadmill session with Mel following his 2 consecutive cruciate surgeries on his stifles (knees).

We are now working towards getting Barley to used his legs correctly and build up the muscle mass in his hind legs again 😀

Going, going gone....we have only 2 spaces left for our Canine First Aid Course on the 22nd September (Sunday) 1-4pm... due to our busy workload we may not be running anymore till next year! Although the weather has cooled down a bit the last few weeks we wanted to share this to show how much more difficult it is for shorter nosed breeds (brachycephalic) to regulate their temperature, meaning they are at a much higher risk of overheating.

Definitely something worth bearing in mind in warmer weather ☀️

🫒 Little Olive 🫒

This beautiful girl has been attending the centre since April following surgery for a grade 5 spinal surgery.

Last week we signed Olive off!! She is doing unbelievable and we are so proud of her and her owner. Olive walks beautifully now, which is amazing to see!

Although we have signed Olive off, she is still able to return to us within the next 6 months without another referral, should she need it!

We done Olive, Team Fusion are so proud of you! 👏

We have had a super first day of our canine first aid courses.

Two great groups of students today who have all successfully gained their certificate in canine first aid for 3 years!

Thank you to those who have attended so far! Next groups of students are on 22nd September. There are limited spaces left. If you would like to attend please give us a shout!

I say this to students time and time again it DOES matter what course you do this was one of the many comments that was taken from Students and those who qualified with TCAP on a members page on FB -
Student doing the physio course through TCAP and has just been told that the qualification is not up to scratch. Although TCAP say it’s level 6, other registered bodies only class it as level 5 as it’s not OFQUAL.
You cannot join RAMP-Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners with this qualification and may not get insurance to offer pets the use of modalities!
Often the quickest and perhaps the cheaper option is not always the best in the long run. If your considering an animal related course please, please do your research. This is a very sought after profession and the qualification(s) you have will set you apart from the rest

The Fusion Vet Physio definition - one of many happy pets who have been improved through the process or result of a team joining and working together. We work very closely alongside other veterinary professionals as a team. This includes vets, veterinary specialists, vet nurses, behaviourists and chiropractors to name a few.
