NEW CLIENT LIST CLOSED......

Well I have been doing my pet business for almost 10 years now and I have loved it, I wish I had started this at a much younger age so that I could do it for much longer than I can….I have met some lovely people and looked after some fabulous animals….. however, all good things must come to an end.

Im sorry to have to do this as I had intended carrying on for the next couple of years at least but Due to my age and the fact that I had a health scare in the new year I am having to rethink my life and my business. At the minute its business more or less as normal but with 1 change…..
I wont be taking on any new clients.
I will however continue to board and walk existing clients dogs.

As I said im sorry to have to make this decision but I have to make things as easy as I can for myself so that I can fit in any future hospital appointments, spend time with family and look after the dogs in my care.

Thank you to everyone who has recommended me to friends and family and thank you to all my clients past present and future, you have all helped to make this the best job I have ever had. 🐶🐱🥰 xx

For awareness only shared by an owner on another site.
FB friends, we got the biopsy report back and with great sorrow I must share this....Our darling girl died from the toxin in this plant that I have on my deck. It is called heliotrope and is highly toxic, causes total liver destruction. The pathologist said our angel had the worst liver damage he's ever seen. Goldie would nibble at the leaves of this plant every so often and we had no clue it was toxic. (It can come in white or purple.) Please share with any dog owners you know to hopefully prevent their dog from becoming a statistic like Goldie. We are even more heartbroken now knowing her death was preventable. Please share her story so that something positive may come of it and create awareness of toxic plants. Our own vet had no idea this was a toxic plant!!

Here's the lovely Elsie waiting at the window for me to take her out, her tail started wagging really fast when she saw me get out of the car. I have even been told by a couple of owners that their dog now recognises my car engine and they get excited just before I pull up. We all know dogs have fantastic hearing so they must recognise the sound of my car as I'm driving up the street. Love my job 😁

If anyone contacts me and doesn't hear straight back from me please bear with me, I have been looking after a poorly cat this week. She had a stroke back in May and other than being a bit twisted and running sideways, she was doing well untill this last week. Sadly we lost her this morning, after almost 17 years with us the house feels empty and I'm heartbroken even though I know it was for the best as she went downhill fast on her last day. Hope you are happily running round in a straight line again Saffi. Love you beautiful girl 💔

Well today I recieved my first Christmas present 😁 went to walk one of my regulars and his owner asked if I liked the tea towels in her hand, I said yes and she handed them to me saying they were supposed to be for me for Christmas but she couldn't wait that long to give me them 😁 thank you Carolyn I love them. You know me well

Well just had a surprise delivery. A flowers box so had to double check the name on the box, thought it was a mistake but no they were for me, I have recently looked after a lovely dog while his owners were away for their sons wedding, they have sent me the flowers to say Thank You. How lovely was that. Not required or expected but really appreciated. Thank you John and Christine Gledhill. The flowers are beautiful.
I have shown the box for anyone wanting to order for their friends or family as the flowers and packaging are first class

I have been getting a lot of enquiries recently. Can I just ask if anyone messages me in the next few days to bear with me if I dont get back to you as quickly as you would like, we have had a death in the family and while Im not the one having to make arrangements it is going to be the thing we think about and concentrate on in the immediate future, Im obviously upset for my sister and brother in law and checking my messages and replying to them isnt going to be as high on my list of things to do as it previously was. I know of a Dalmatian whos owner is sadly needing to rehome her, the breeder has been informed. I have met her and shes a giddy girl but only 9 months old. If anyone is interested contact me and I will pass on the owners number.

So Im guessinguessing I Will probably recieve a bad review from someone for being rude. Had a call from a 0161 number. I have Previously checked the number on Google after its rung me a few times and it's a Scam number with a Manchester code. He was asking about my services. Apparantly I was rude for asking where he was ringing from and when he said Wakefield for telling him that's not a Wakefield area code. He asked are you sure? I told him I was so he says well I was going to give you work but as you have been rude to me I won't. I hung up on him at that point. I will not give out details of my services to any scam number. My first priority is protecting any dogs in my care and my bank details.... If that risks me a bad review I am willing to take the risk

This lovely boy was my first client when I started my business, I have walked him since October 2014 and boarded him lots of times over the years, I always thought he would be with me throughout my working life as a dog walker. The whole family grew very fond of him over the years as he was such a lovely boy. I have watched him growing older and recently greyer and a few years ago saw him cope with a hip replacement but he always had a spring in his step, I adored him. Last weekend his owner got a shock when he suddenly looked very ill and needed a trip to the emergency vets, sadly it wasnt good news and today aged 12 he crossed Rainbow Bridge, I know his family are going to be heartbroken, as am I.
RIP Murphy you beautiful boy, you will be missed so much.
