Please note we will be closed from Friday 29th March and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 for the Easter Break.

We will then be closed for a family escape from Friday 5th April and will reopen Tuesday 9th April 2024.

We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience to anyone.

Don't forget there is a price increase also in place from 1st April as well as charges for severe matting and fleas.

🐾🐾Good Morning 🐾🐾

As many are already aware, from 1st April 2024, there will be a slight price increase for all services. This is currently unavoidable. We regret this decision but we have to keep up with the current climate of inflation.

There will also be added fees for heavy matting, no shows and cancellations without 24 hours notice, as well as dogs with fleas as this issue costs us every single time (which isn't often).

We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2024 ❤️

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. We appreciate not only your custom but the friendships we've gained throughout the years.

There will be a few changes for now due to health issues where we are not able to groom larger breeds or challenging/reactive dogs for the foreseeable, but hopefully things will go back to normal by mid year. Only time will tell.

If this may affect you, please talk to us directly if you have any questions.

We can only apologise.

We've just received a phone call regarding this dog who's unfortunately, still not been recognised by anyone missing it. If anyone recognises the dog, please contact My Pets Vets at Lowton or possibly the lady in the advert regarding any questions.

Let's try reunite this poor dog with its owners. We do not have any details over the dog ourselves.

Good Evening

As some if you are aware already, it's with deepest regrets, we're having to rearrange and cancel some appointments for the rest of this year.

Following on from an accident walking back down a mountain on Sunday, I sustained a dislocated and fractured elbow. It now requires surgery. This today, has been set for 30th November 2023.

I am so sorry but I can't physical do anything about today's decisions. Mum will continue to work along side the voluntary help of family members, whom we can't thank enough, however, they will be limited to what they're able to achieve.

In the meantime, I will continue to attend work, however, my mobility is seriously restricted so the appointments available will decrease quite a bit.

We will still have some appointments available before hand as long as they are smaller dogs with less challenging behaviour.

If we have not contacted you over any appointments yet, please continue like normal until we know otherwise. If this isn't convenient, we understand if you need to take your dogs else where to be groomed and wish you all the best.

We will all do our very very best until things are back up and running again fully.

Good Afternoon to you all

We hope you're all well.

It has been brought to our attention that words are doing their rounds informing people we have closed down. Please let us assure you, this is not the case. We've been here 14 years and aren't planning on disappearing any time soon! 😜🙈

We are currently trading 4 days a week to keep over heads down as we can make the 4 days work and bills are ridiculously high at the minute so this works best for us. We are also caring for a family member with dementia, therefore, that also helps having some time for grandad.

Just a reminder that we will be closed the week commencing Monday 23rd October 2023 and will reopen on Tuesday 31st October 2023 as we have our annual escape.

No messages will be answered during this time off. Please make all appointments before or after these dates.

Good Afternoon to you all.

As we're all aware, still being highlighted in the media, XL Bully's and alike breeds are being seriously targeted at the minute.
Yes, attacks and incidents have occurred. Yes, they are powerful breeds. Yes, some have been unpredictable and listed as unprovoked, however, we ourselves, do not agree on a breed ban.
This is causing so much stress and anxiety to our own customer. It's causing much upset and worry. We completely understand the incidents that have occurred are horrendous but we'd also like to stress that they can't all be tied with the same brush.
We groom many XL Bully's and alike breeds. If nothing else, grooming can test dogs patience, having so much contact and time with them. These breeds hardly ever give us issues. We can list many breeds however that do cause more concern.
The reactions of the XL Bully's and alike breeds can be devastating, yes, and fatal if they do dislike something but can we also look at both sides and remember, a dogs background, history and bloodlines can have a big part to play in their temperaments.
Alot of other breeds can also be more reactive than others. We're not going to start naming them but certain ones can cause concern at times. Same goes again, not every single one is the same.
For those who are worried and keep asking, we will continue to groom these breeds like we have done for 14 years.
Unless it affects our insurance due to a ban, which we certainly hope not and will not agree with, we will not be stopping them from entering the shop.
If we have any concerns or uncertainty, like with any breed, we will simply ask them not to return.

Good Morning, how are you all today?

Can we please make an effort to inform us if you're unable to attend your appointment.
We have had 5 no shows in the past week. This does not help us pay bills.
If you miss an appointment, you will be required to pay a non refundable deposit to secure any further appointments.
All we ask is for a phone call 24 hours before to cancel. If we're not here, leave a message, that's absolutely fine. Not only does it affect the business and outgoings, it also prevents other people being able to get sooner appointments.

Let's choose a new cover photo. Post your photos in comments. Once again, the one with the most likes by Saturday 2nd September at 9.30am will be the chosen cover photo. Keep them all on this original thread so people can see them.

Can any of you help?

This little boy, Shankley, a Cockerpoo, has very recently had back surgery and is on the long road to recovery. He currently does not have the use of his back legs, however, with the rehab he's going to be enduring, there's lots of hope that he will recover and be able to walk again. He's an amazing boy!

Shankley is in need of a dog wheelchair. His mum and dad need recommendations on where is best to buy one suitable or if any of you know of any being sold, please can you message us so we can put you in touch with his family.

Today, we have been officially been open for🎉🎉14 Years🎉🎉

It's amazing how fast 14 years has gone by and how much has happened throughout.

We are so greatful for all the support over the years and even more greatful for the friendships we have made throughout.

Dog Grooming can be challenging at times, mentally and physically, but we would not change it for anything.

We appreciate every single one of you and of course, all our dogs!
