2 months old already ❤️
So confident and unfazed by anything just like her mum ❤️
Burwarton Show
Yesterday we did something a little different! Burwarton show has always been a favourite of mine. What an experience to jump in front of a huge crowd and on grass! A totally different way of riding. I was over the moon with Pheonix ❤️ to go straight into a Foxhunter without a warmup class in that environment was a huge test but one she will have learnt so much from. Despite having 2 down I was over the moon with her... 6 months ago I wouldn't have dreamt she would have been ready for something like this!
Tilly jumped a super clear in the first round to finish 4th after having a couple of fences down in the jump off!

A very long, hot but incredibly successful day at Onley yesterday! With the fabulous new set up it felt like we were on holiday!
3 x 1st and a 3rd meaning all 4 girls came home with a prize 🎊
Minnie - 1st BN and her first go at disco with 2 green poles.
Perla - 1st Discovery with 1 down in the newcomers after a moment of madness from me! Poor girl!
Pheonix - 1st 1.15 members cup with an unfortunate 1 down in the Fox.
Tilly - 2 down in the 1.15. Removal of my spurs seemed to allow her to relax over the fences more resulting in a 3rd place in the 1.20!
A great day. Will definitely make the extra long journey to Onley. It was nice to have a change of scenery 👍
Pheonix and Tilly both jumped great today too!
After having a pole in the 1.10 Pheonix jumped a fab round in the Fox to come 2nd. Unfortunately I was a little off the purple double and Tilly didn't quite make it. Shame as the time would have been fast enough to win!

A very early start today nearly paid off! Perla and I went to Hartpury to jump the last of the discovery 2nd round qualifiers. We got to the 3rd round but unfortunately Perla anticipated the turn a little too soon having a pole. Being the 2nd to go in the jump off we then put our foot down just incase we managed to sneak a fastest 4 fault round to pick up one of the 2 qualifying spots but unfortunately despite being the fastest round of the day there were 9 clears! Despite the disappointment I must remind myself how far she has come this past few weeks... we are finally starting to have some rideability before the fence and her technique is improving all of the time! Thank you as always goes to Suzanne Gill for all your help ❤️
When your legs are too short to eat like mum 🤣🤣
I must remember I have lots of work to be getting on with 🤣😍❤️

So good to be back after near 4 weeks suffering with badly bruised ribs!!
Back to doing what I love! 5 mares on the lorry and all 5 were brilliant ❤️
Minnie- 1st British Novice
Maddie - clear British Novice HC
Perla - 1st Discovery and 1 down 1.05
Pheonix - 6th Newcomers and 2 down in her first Fox this year
Tilly - 1 down in the 1.20 and 1 down in the 1.25
Thank you to Beth and Chloe as always 🥰

Another crazy day at Kelsall yesterday. Not many can say they rode in every class of the day 🙈 90cm to 1.25 with 5 horses.
Minnie made a little green mistake in the BN for 4 faults.
Pearla just thought she knew better than her mum having 8 faults in both BN and Disco. She thinks she's a pro now and wanted to just get on with it!! 🤣
Tally owned by Sian Cadwallader-Hinkins gained her last discovery DC and picked up a super 2nd in the 1.05. Looking forward to a newcomers on her in 2024!
Pheonix came 3rd in the newcomers 🎥 and stepped up to jump her first Fox well. Looking forward to pushing on with her now ready for newcomers 2nd rounds in the spring.
Tilly was 3rd in the Fox with just a pole in the 1.25.
All in all a very good day but an incredibly tiring one!
Thanks to Chloe once again for her help and Sian Cadwallader-Hinkins trusting me with her lovely Tally.
This chap was very difficult to back. Fred Timmis Equine services did a fab job with him. After taking our time since he's been home just hacking and dodging the bad weather we finally had our first trot around the arena! After my several nasty falls/injuries I've maybe been a little more cautious than I used to be! But I clearly don't bounce like I used too! So staying safe and taking my time is my motto now!
Another of my homebreds. Star has been a very sensitive one to produce. Easily panicks and has a real genuine worried streak about her. Despite her being behind her siblings of her age that are jumping at competitions I have continued to take my time with her. Why push her if she's not ready is my motto? She will soon catch them up! Every youngster needs to develop in their own time not on a scheduled time frame! Look out 2024 Star will be ready ❤️

F.H Quickstep (Westpoint Quickfire x Cor de Brevel) Rising 6 yr old, Approx 15hd mare.
Full advert available this week.
Here is F.H Quinteria. Rising 5 yr old. I'm excited about her future she's a half sister to the lovely Cracker who is currently in Ireland and just jumped his first 1.40 GP with Tyronne! She's so naturally balanced but just starting to learn to contain her power. She almost doesn't know what to do with that engine. But everyday there is an improvement. The 4 years of waiting patiently has finally come so I can enjoy these beautiful homebreds.

I've been very quiet on here recently. I've been so busy behind the scenes I keep forgetting to share things!
Despite my bad back and terrible weather we have continued to produce a number of horses. Here's one of them. Rising 5 yr old homebred F.H Quantez. At a huge 17hds+ I have taken my time with him allowing him time to mature with lots of little mini breaks. I'm a firm believer a youngster benefits from time to think about their progress. Here he is after 2 weeks off. He's come back into work this week a much more established horse and showing how sane and sensible he is! Unfortunately for me but not for a very lucky person out there Quantez is looking for a new 🏡 full advert will be available this week!
Today was a big day for me...
and it's all down to the fabulous work of Fred Timmis Equine services. I highly recommend them for backing horses 👌👌👌
Tilly in the 1.15 without our mishap! Such a shame but that's horses for you! Great levellers! Never ever take your foot off the pedal! Lesson learnt!!
Spirit - he will soon be officially advertised.
Super kind big lad with a huge heart!
Here he is jumping clear in the Star Qualifier.

Perfect mother daughter share/potential RC allrounder
Approx 14.1, 12yr old mare. Coco is a sweet little mare who wants to please. She has a sensitive little nature so for this is unsuitable for a complete novice. She would suit a confident competitive teenager or equally a small adult due to having plenty of substance to take up a good leg. Coco is a sweet little mare who I believe hasn't achieved her potential due to only being in low level homes in the past. She has huge scope and in the right hands could be that undiscovered super star BS pony that comes out of the woodwork. I do believe with a little time she could be that superstar to jump the bigger tracks. She's quick, nimble and very careful. Coco is nicely schooled on the flat. Works in a lovely soft outline and always snaffle mouthed. She hacks out well in company and on her own. She's great in all types of traffic. Coco is a lovely mare to have on the yard. She will stand all day to be groomed etc. Her only negative is that she needs to be sedated to be clipped. Based Welsh/Shropshire border. Press the wats app link below for further details.
What a day it was yesterday!!!
4 horses and they all jumped super!
Perla had 2 baby mistakes in the BN and Disco. So pleased with how her confidence is growing each time out!
Spirit jumped super all day. Shame about his donkey rider jumping the wrong course in the 1.05 I was still in Discovery mode 🙈
I was determined to make it up to him in the Star Blue Chip qualifier! 1st to go and he jumped clear to go into the Jump off.
Nix after already coming 2nd in the 1.05 also jumped clear to go through to the jump off. Tilly topped it off with also going through to the jump off which meant I had 3 out of the 16 horses contesting for the top 8 places that qualified. I genuinely thought the places went down the line if the horse had already qualified otherwise I wouldn't have entered Tilly. I was then in a position where Spirit jumped out of his skin to go clear followed by Nix who also jumped clear with a super time! I had both horses in the top 8 with 3 to go Spirit in 8th place so I decided to not jump Tilly as I couldn't afford to knock him out of 8th!! A tense finish but he hung in there! We finished 4th and 8th! I couldn't be happier 🥳🥳
Tilly and I unfortunately had a miscommunication at the 1st in the 1.15 but then she did a foot perfect clear!
A very long tiring day but well worth the effort 👌 thank you to Chloe Jones for all of your help I couldn't have managed it without you x
🎥 of Pheonix in the Star Qualifier.
Once again this has amazed me how such a lovely pony is still here 🤷
