Yesterday we hung our scissors and clippers up for the last time this year.
We want to thank all our regulars for trusting us with your 4 legged family members for another year! We would also like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the generous gifts of appreciation, cards and tips. It doesn’t go unnoticed 🥰

Easter News! 🐣

Our lovely and very talented Toni has branched out and set up her very own Etsy shop focusing on wild art swimming prints and greeting cards painted and designed by herself! Check out her work, I will post a link at the end of this post 🥰

Due to this new adventure Toni has reduced her hours so we will no longer be able to offer Friday appointments (if you already have Friday appointments booked, they will be honoured)
We have extended Monday appointments to help accommodate 🙂

We would like to thank our customers for recommending us but we are unable to take on new clients due to being fully booked so far in advance and we want to make sure our regulars get their 4,6,8,10,12 week appointments.

Thank you for your understanding and we wish all our customers a very Happy Easter! We will be back on Tuesday 🙂 - Julie 🙂

We had to say goodbye to my boy today, Addie, the salon hoover dog who is always after the non eaten treats. 🤪
You may of seen him in the background over the years.
This will be the first time I’m dogless since I was 6 years old but I will have all of your lovely doggos to give me the dog fix I need when I’m feeling doggy broody.

When I first started grooming, I had 3 dogs at once. These three terriers reminded me of what it was like to have my own little family of the four legged kind. Each with their own little personalities and posing beautifully for the camera (with the help of cheese of course 😉) - aren’t they just adorable 🥰 x

Happy belated new year folks! Christmas and new year seem like a distant memory now 🤪

To all our lovely regulars who book a year of appointments in advance, please let me know if you’d like this doing again for this year as we are getting booked up quick as usual. We highly recommend having at least 2 to 3 appointments booked in advance otherwise in peak months we could be behind up to 4 - 6 weeks which means your dog will be over grown during the hotter months and nobody wants that. 🥵

Good morning all. Just a quick update at where we are at. We are currently fully booked 2 and a half months in advance and due to this we are unable to take on new clients unless for nail trimming.

We would like to thank our regular clients for their loyalty and patience during these high demanding times.

Of course if anything changes we will update you here.

This lovely girl came yesterday. A over due a hair cut needed. unfortunately when the coat is matted the kindest thing to do is to start again. All those beautiful markings and blue eyes now exposed. Owner is now going to work with us to keep on top of the coat which is music to my ears. She must feel so much better 😍 / what a beauty 😍

Good Morning All!

If you haven’t already heard the lovely Shannon is leaving us. We always knew Shannon’s placement with us would always be temporary until she built up her own salon. Shannon has grown into an incredible groomer since her time with us and we will be sad to see her go. If you are happy with Shannon, we encourage you to follow her at her salon in portesham (doggy beauty) which is a 10 minute drive. There is a cafe there, a pub and plenty of country walks while you wait for your dog to be groomed.
With Shannon Ann Doble leaving us it means less appointments are available and we will be closing our books to new customers as we are currently fully booked with a few appointments available at the end of July and august.

Newbie Nell came yesterday for her puppy introduction groom along with her mummy Rosie at the back and her other family member Penny. Other dogs in the household bring such confidence to the younger troops and mummy and daughter have such a close bond, it was lovely to see 🥰
