Only second time in a double today, with more relaxation it will be a much nicer picture, baby steps. The boy is trying hard as always and he never fails to make me smile.

Queenie was awarded a Gold Premium & was the highest scoring 3 year old presented on the day. Little bit of trot work, more cadence needed and sitting behind. Once he is stronger and more balanced/ confident taking the medium strides he will not be as deep in his frame but he is not strong enough to have a “Grand Prix” outline/frame just yet. He still looses that balance especially towards the end but overall I’m chuffed with him.
Some canter work today, shoulder in with a steeper angle, trying to encourage him to keep in a steadier rhyme whilst activating that inside hind leg without him running through the shoulder. Very green flying change…we haven’t been doing changes for a long time as the button is there already so don’t ever want to over cook the changes at this stage 😂 he doesn’t care at all about the dogs training in the field next to him, it’s perfect for testing is concentration
