Only second time in a double today, with more relaxation it will be a much nicer picture, baby steps. The boy is trying hard as always and he never fails to make me smile.
These stunning photos were taken of our striking 3 year old filly Ghabar Queen of Bling at British Breeding Futurity at Hartpury in July. Queenie was awarded a Gold Premium & was the highest scoring 3 year old presented on the day. Photo credits to Tanja Davis & enormous thanks to Julie John for turning her out so beautifully & running her for us on the day. Queenie was bred by Damien Harris & is by Hulst Mando. Whatβs not to love about her?? β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Queen of Bling back out on the Welsh Hills after her day out yesterday, living her best life. Thanks Julie John for the lovely video.
Little bit of trot work, more cadence needed and sitting behind. Once he is stronger and more balanced/ confident taking the medium strides he will not be as deep in his frame but he is not strong enough to have a βGrand Prixβ outline/frame just yet. He still looses that balance especially towards the end but overall Iβm chuffed with him.
Some canter work today, shoulder in with a steeper angle, trying to encourage him to keep in a steadier rhyme whilst activating that inside hind leg without him running through the shoulder. Very green flying changeβ¦we havenβt been doing changes for a long time as the button is there already so donβt ever want to over cook the changes at this stage π he doesnβt care at all about the dogs training in the field next to him, itβs perfect for testing is concentration
