Hi all, we have 3 Omlet Eglus for sale all used condition. Eglu with 3 metre run £350, Eglu with 2 metre run £325 and Eglu for Bantams or Rabbits with 2 metre run £250, collection only, pop in to have a look we are open 11am to 4.30pm every day except Wednesdays and Sundays 😀

New government legislation from 1st October 2024

New mandatory registration requirements are to be implemented for bird keepers in Great Britain.

Under these rules, all bird owners are required to register their birds annually 🦆
This will help manage potential disease outbreaks like and keep your flock healthy 💚

By registering, owners will receive crucial updates and guidance for bird care.

Keepers need to follow these new requirements by 1 October 2024 📆

Scottish Keepers need to follow these new requirements by 1 September 2024 📆

I think we knew this was coming Defra☹️Mandatory housing measures for all poultry and captive birds are to be introduced to all areas of England from 00:01 on Monday 7 November, following a decision by the United Kingdom’s Chief Veterinary Officer.

The housing measures legally require all bird keepers to keep their birds indoors and to follow stringent biosecurity measures to help protect their flocks from the disease, regardless of type or size.

First Bird Flu case in Sussex today🥲 ( Horsham area) While we are under enhanced Bird flu restrictions please have a plan B in mind for your holiday birds, if we go into a protection zone no bird movement will be allowed until the zone has been lifted. Please check the interactive map to make sure you are not in a protection area before you bring your hens. If you have a bird that appears unwell please contact us prior to your arrival. Caroline x

Hello all, Bird Flu season is upon us from 12pm on 17/10/22 keepers need to use enhanced biosecurity measures this includes keeping the feed and water undercover, do not feed wild birds, keep people and vehicles away from your hens, use disinfection mats/foot baths with a defra approved disinfectant or just use the same footwear when you are in the hens pen, for further information https://www.gov.uk/guidance/avian-influenza-bird-flu, This is not a housing order currently but I think we should be prepared, Caroline x

Christmas and New Year Holiday Pens are really filling up now 😱 so drop off/collection dates are as follows, last day for drop off is 24th December, we will then be open on the 31st and the 5th for further drop offs or collections. Can't really believe I'm talking about Christmas already😀
