Hi Everyone
I'm so sorry that I haven't done any posts recently 😔 This is due to having both of my big toenails removed and the nail bases killed so that they don't regrow 😬
What should have been a simple recovery turned very nasty with serious infection in one of my toes which almost required amputation 😱
Luckily this is now much better and I am hoping to return to my artwork next week 😁
Thank you so much to my Commissions for waiting for me patiently to be able to actually sit at my drawing board.
I really appreciate each and every one of you ❤️

So, the end of another year...! It was certainly a challenging one!!! 😳
I just know within myself that 2023 will be absolutely amazing!! 🥳
I'm so excited and already have a great selection of animals that I want to draw this year around my Commissions 😁
I can't wait to get started and only have 1 space for January, 2 for February, 3 for March and 2 for April left!!! I'd like to thank you all for your trust in asking me to draw your gorgeous animals 😍 I adore creating them ❤️

I've finally got a few days to myself to do the fluffy kitten that's been taped to the back of my drawing table for AGES!!
Look at that gorgeous little face 😍
I've not 100% decided but I think this one will be looking for a home once I've finished him...

Well, another section done and I'm really enjoying the process with this one ☺️
It seems to be taking forever, but I only have one more commission to do before Christmas, with a local delivery, so I've had the chance to continue 😜
I'm loving how it's turning out so far...now onto the rest of the leatherwork which, I must admit, I need a magnifying glass for. Those stitches are TINY!

So this week my Commission List has closed until all of my Christmas pieces are done and posted 🎄🎁
Thank you to everyone who has entrusted me with their precious animal portraits. I know you will love them.
I've done a little more to the Chestnut I'm drawing in between doing the Commissions...here he is. Hope you like how he's coming on.
I'm very pleased with him at the moment ❤️

I managed to work on my chestnut horse for a couple of hours over the weekend and I'm quite pleased at how it's coming on 😁

Will be working on it again today for a while as I was up at 6am working on pieces for Christmas 🎅

Now only ONE space for Christmas pieces!!! Don't forget that my Book CLOSES on 1st December so just a few days to go eeeek!! I will however, still be taking Commission bookings for January and February although I am having a lot of enquiries so spaces may be limited 🙀

I'm closing my Christmas Commission Book on 1st December as I have just realised that there are Royal Mail Postal Strikes on 1st, 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 24th December!!!!!

This means that all of the other Delivery Services are going to be extremely busy too so I want to make sure that all Commissions get to you by the big day. I don't want to let anyone down.

So...you have until Thursday to get any Christmas orders in to me.

Just 2 places left, (I managed to squeeze one more in!)!

So, next up on my drawing board, I have this gorgeous Chestnut 😁
It's been quite a number of years since I've done any leatherwork...hopefully it's like falling off a bike! 🤣😂
I'll be doing updates on this one as I go. I'm fitting it around Commissions so it might not be as quick to finish as some of the others...
I've still got the white cat to finish but am waiting for some specific colours to come back into stock. I will finish it, am I'm feeling frustrated that I can't crack on with it! 🤨
Finally, I have ONE commission place left for Christmas. UK ONLY!! If you want it, I need to know ASAP, so that I can plan it in. With the Postal Strikes I don't want to leave anything until the last minute.

So sad to have finished this little squirrel 😨
I really enjoyed working on him!!!

So, now it's a combination of working on a lovely commission piece for Christmas ( I can't show you until after the big day 🎄🎁), and continuing the white cat ❤️

Last date for any Christmas pieces is 1st December so get a wiggle on as only a couple of places available ☺️

So next up on my Drawingboard is this very fluffy cat.

I love these challenging pieces and I'm really excited to see this one come on. I'll be concentrating on the shadows and highlight areas to bring this to life. A white cat on white paper...yep...a challenge lol ❤️
