Watch this eye-opening video where a little girl plays with a dog who's clearly signaling discomfort. Despite the dog's warnings, the girl persists, leading to the dog snapping. Luckily, the dog didn’t reach the girl.

It’s important to realize that growling is another form of communication for your dog! Yes, it makes us uncomfortable and often brings up some tough emotions, but eliminating growling using punishment is the LAST thing we want to do. Any trainer that tells you to correct your dog when they growl is a walking red flag!
