Scent Dogs Ireland During my time as head dog trainer at DSPCA I developed a passion for scent training. I graduated from the prestitiogus Academy for Dog Trainers in 2014.

Dogs experience the world through scent, my goal is to provide fun opportunities for dogs and owners to experience this world together. I have also trained in scent detection in the Netherlands with the amazing SDA. More recently qualifying as a mantailing instructor with Rachel and the team at K9 Detect & Find in Wexford.

Senior girl Gwen is on restricted exercise this week. Keeping her brain busy with a little gentle scent work at home. Target odour is clove.

Congratulations to Emma & Nala on completing their L1 assessment today. Great team, Nala loves the game and is so keen to tackle new challenges.

Last Introduction session for 2023. I plan to take a few weeks off to work my own dogs and plan some new and exciting stuff for for 2024.

Glorious sunshine, great teamwork and camaraderie today. Such a fun time. Thanks to all the runners.

Fantastic scent class today, all the dogs worked so well and loved the work. The progress since last week was amazing, I can't wait for the next one.

The rain did not damped spirits for todays introduction. All teams worked so well together and the dogs loved their new job.
