🐈Special Re-home Request for Tilly 🐈
*More photos in the comments*
We are urgently looking for an outdoor home for our lovely 6 month old jet black kitten (Tilly 💕) in the video below. She is neutered, vaccinated, flea and worm dosed. Tilly came in a number of months ago and we thought she may turn a corner regarding her tameness, but it just didn't happen, despite huge efforts. She needs an outdoor home, where she can be kept in (somewhere safe) for a number of weeks until it's safe to leave her out once she knows her new environment. An outdoor farm/barn type would be perfect, but we're also okay with her going to a home in the countryside where it's quiet enough and she'll have somewhere safe for the first couple of weeks to acclimatize herself to the new environment. She really needs to find her own place. Tilly originally came in with her mother and siblings from a younger litter. They have all been reserved to new homes. Tilly is still waiting... Please read her bio below from her current minder. Currently in the care of The Purrfect Purr Rehoming. We are also okay with people contacting us here in the office on 051 841432 or emailing us at [email protected] to express interest. You can also DM The Purrfect Purr page at their Facebook link below.
The Purrfect Purr Rehoming : We are urgently seeking an outdoor home 🏡 for Tilly , the beautiful black panther. She is the daughter of Belle from a previous litter. She has been with us a number of weeks and unfortunately has not tamed. She would be much happier in an outdoor home , farm/barn/yard . In exchange for food and shelter she'll keep rodents at bay.
Tilly is only 6 months old and has been neutered , vaccinated and treated for parasites. She's perfectly healthy. She gets on really well with other cats . Tilly would need to be kept confined for a number of weeks until she's adjusted to the move. Please share to help find Tilly a happy outdoor home 🏡 😊 ❤️

About me:
Meet Corky, a Charming Three-Legged Wonder!
Looking for an intelligent, loyal companion with a heart of gold? Look no further than Corky! This charming Collie may have three legs, but his spirit is boundless.
Three-legged collies can make fantastic pets! They adapt very well to their disability and still enjoy all the things other dogs do. Some information to help understand Corky’s needs:
Resilience and adaptability: Three-legged dogs adjust remarkably well and can be quite active.
Collie temperament: Collies are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and eagerness to please.
Unique personality: Every dog is an individual, and the collie's three-leggedness can be part of its quirky charm.
Special Considerations:
Three-legged dogs are incredibly adaptable, but Corky may need some minor adjustments to suit his disability or avoiding overly strenuous activity.
Don't let his three legs fool you, Corky has all the love and loyalty a four-legged friend can offer. Could he be your perfect match?

A slightly longer read than our normal posts, but a long post is needed to do this justice. We have five beautiful, but nervous black & white collies in our shelter at the moment. They came into our care when their owner died & there was nobody left to look after them. These beautiful dogs didn’t have a lot of handling in their last home. They lived an existence where they ran around the yard each day, but nothing more was asked of them. They were never worked with cattle or sheep & even though they are quite young, will not be of use as working farm dogs.
These beautiful guys were never pets or indoor dogs, but this is just at the moment. We do feel this can happen in time. They are best suited to an outdoor type of set-up at present, such as an enclosed yard/garden with suitable provision for shelter. Again, we are hoping that one day they will be inside & beside you at your feet.
The collies have improved & developed greatly in confidence since coming to the shelter & now follow their minders around the yard & play with each other. Unfortunately, their early socialisation did not include a lot of handling & as they were adult dogs once admitted into our care, our shelter staff started from scratch with them.
We understand they are not your ready made dog, but working in rescue, what dog is ? Ultimately each & every dog that walks through our doors needs time, patience and understanding. We understand they need ongoing work, but we also understand that they deserve this so much. We are so proud of how they came from being completely shut down a number of months ago, to now wanting to interact with us. This took a lot of time & it was so worth it.
They are intelligent, beautiful dogs with high energy levels & will need the support of people/a family who are experienced with this type of rescue dog & can give the time & patience to devote to them.
We would like to see them go in pairs, if possible, to their n

Luke & Nelly ❤️ Video below 👇
Luke (1 year old male Terrier cross) and Nelly (4 month old female Terrier cross) came to us only a few short weeks ago in a sorry state.
They both had mange, and Luke in particular was very bad (as you can see in their video below). Thankfully with immediate attention from the vets & staff at Riverside Vets, these guys have now greatly improved.
These two little ones deserve wonderful homes. Their resilience is admirable and their gained trust in us is beautiful to see, and how could it not be? They willingly put their lives in our hands and we are now showing them just how worthy and important they really are.
They have received medicated baths for their skin and even had hand knit jumpers made for them by Geraldine, the mother of one of Riversides staff members ❤️ Although they have a little bit more to go, we wanted to show their road to recovery so far & how those short few weeks really have changed their lives.
The dedicated staff at our shelter have been socialising them and getting them ready for the world once more.
If you would like to express your interest to rehome, please contact our office on 051 841432. If no one is available to take your call, please leave your name, number and a brief message. You can also fill out our online adoption form at this link below:

❤️ Meet Santo ❤️
Our 3 year old cream Wheaten Terrier X - currently looking for a new home.
Have a look in the comments to see more photos of Santo looking adorable ❤️
Santo has bundles of energy & is very playful. A must for him is that he needs a 100 % secure area to run about and play in.
As regards living with other dogs, Santo can be fussy. He would prefer to live with a female dog or a home with no other dogs. A slow introduction and a meet and greet is absolutely essential first.
One important thing to mention is that he absolutely loves his humans. He is extremely people oriented and will hopefully bond with his new person.
As with all rescue dogs, and even more so with adult dogs, adjusting to a new routine and a new life can be hard at times. Patience is needed with house training & the settling in period. Santos coat also needs consistent grooming & we are looking for an indoor home only.
If you are interested in this beautiful boy, please call our office on 051 841432 or email [email protected]. If no one is available to take your call when ringing, please do leave your name, number and reference "Santo" & we will get back to you.
