Somehow trapped one of my outdoor ( stray) cats, three months ago, who had a big wound on one side of his face. His treatment is going on.

Some free-roaming time for Muchu. We keep him in a crate to avoid infection and to heal his wound fast.

Muchu is one of the strays I feed regularly. He was attacked by our society dog a couple of months ago. The attack made him paralysed. He is getting the right treatments but healing slowly. It will take months for him to walk on his own.

It's been 31 days since Muchu was attacked by our society dog. Muchu is recovering but very slowly. It may take months to recover fully. We are determined to do the best for him. We believe he will walk on his own soon. Please pray for his recovery.

Long post alert -
One of my outdoor cats Muchu was attacked by our society dog Brownie on the 21st of April, 2022. It was the 2nd time Brownie had attacked an adult cat. He had killed many Kittens. If you are following my page and if you remember almost 10 months ago Futuki (my outdoor cat) was attacked by Brownie.It took more than 2months for her to recover fully. This time Muchu is temporarily paralyzed as his lower neck bones are displaced. We came to know about it from his X-ray reports.
On that day, our apartment's security guards informed my husband about the incident ( i was out of the city ). Within a half an hour he had rescued Muchu. My husband had searched for Muchu by calling his name and there was a desperate meow that came from a drain. My husband had pulled him out from the drain and cleaned him immediately. A vet came to our place and gave Muchu a pain killer injection and a V.B12 injection.
The 2nd picture is from day 5. Muchu had not moved his body for 2days. He was on an IV drip for 6 days. On day 3, he drank some water and on day 4, he had some dry cat food. He was peeing but not pooping, which made us tense. But thankfully on day 5, he pooped himself.
It's the first time, I am taking care of a paralysed ( temporarily ) cat.
Muchu is the 2nd cat who came at the evening feeding round, which I had started 4years ago.
I will post a video soon, on how we are taking care of Muchu and helping him recover.

I feed my community cats regularly. One of the cats didn't show up today evening. I placed some dry cat food on our boundary wall. I went for a check. Well, see who is stealing the cat foods. This little one is enjoying his/her dinner party.

My community cats and street cats (whom I feed regularly) were dewormed yesterday. Deworming is an important preventative care regime for reducing parasites (internal and external) and improving our pet's and street animal's health.
It's really difficult to deworm cats, every time I have to be creative to deworm them. These fish balls have deworming tablets of 1/4 & 1/2 inside them. Deworming should be done according to body weight. Before and after deworming, liver support should be given. There are separate dewormers for kittens and adult cats.

Five days back when we went to feed Bhutuki, we had noticed that she was coughing and sneezing a lot. We took advice from our veterinarian and started her treatment. Yesterday, she had not sneezed and coughed for once. It feels good to see her relaxed. She is eating well too.

Futuki's surgery for hernia and sterilization goes well. She is all ok now. She is eating nicely and using the litter box as usual. We will keep her inside for at least twenty more days. Hope she heals fast to enjoy her outdoor life.

We went to visit our known veterinarian to schedule Futuki's surgery date. The date is not fixed yet, but she will be operated next week for sure. Futuki is showing cattitude, she doesn't want to go inside the carrier. She wants to roam here and there, she sits close to the main door. As she is an outdoor cat, this behaviour is normal. We hope everything will be ok so that we can release her soon.

Futuki's blood tests were done three days ago. We are so relaxed, according to the Vet, there is nothing serious in the reports. Now, we need to consult a surgeon to correct her hernia. We are hoping to schedule her surgery date very soon. We are thankful to God for the continued blessings. I believe in this, when we work hard for something good with dedication and positivity God will help us. As humans, we should take care of the needy, helpless one.

Futuki is eating well and eating frequently. As her Haemoglobin level is very low, I am giving chicken meat, chicken liver to increase her haemoglobin level. Beside that giving her dry and wet cat food, fish( sometimes). As cats are obligate carnivores, they need meat on regular basis. As the dog bite has damaged her hip bone. According to the vet there is a hernia close to her right hip bone. Only a surgery can correct it. So we will visit a vet tomorrow morning for some much needed blood work of Futuki. If everything goes well, she will be operated very soon. Please pray for her. We hope she will recover very soon. May God bless her always.
