He pursued his interest in veterinary neurology by doing externships at a neurology clinic in Spain and continuing education courses. He has a passion for veterinary pain management and rehabilitation and did an externship in a physiotherapy and rehabilitation center in Spain. Dr.Deshmukh has recently been appointed to the Board Of Directors of the World Association Of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (WATCVM) which is an international community of TCVM leaders across the globe represented by board members from 25 countries. Dr.Deepti has been quite a globetrotter. She graduated from Bombay Veterinary College, India in 2010 . She has passion for internal medicine and did an externship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, North Carolina State University, USA. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Veterinary Studies from Massey University, New Zealand. During her postgraduate studies, she took up papers in veterinary oncology, pain management, anaesthesia and internal medicine with cardio-respiratory medicine focus. She is currently working on a project on pharmacogenetics in rough coated collies.

End of an amazing day post the interactive Neurology and Cardiology Conference in Pune conducted by Dr. Prathmesh Deshmukh & Dr. Deepti Deshpande. A big thank you to all the delegates from Pune, Mumbai, Nashik and Rest of Maharashtra for coming all the way for this conference.

Truly humbled, honoured and grateful to announce that I am now a Diplomate of the Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Cardiology (AiCVIM).

It brings me immense joy to be the first Board Certified Veterinary Cardiology Specialist from India to become a part of this prestigious organisation and represent India on an International platform. This only comes with responsibility to learn more, train more, improve the standard of care for cardiac patients in India and make advanced veterinary cardiology training easy and accessible for vets in India.

None of this would have ever been possible without all my mentors in NCSU, Massey University and ESAVS, my referral Vets who have trusted me with their patients for so many years and only encouraged me to do more,my dear friends , my ever supportive and very optimistic Parents and In-laws and my husband and a friend of 16 years who has been my biggest cheerleader! You all play a very important part of my story and none of this would ever be possible with either of you missing. I hope this inspires more young vets to take up specialization and together we all improve the standard of care for our patients and also have a better representation Internationally.

Belated World Veterinary Day 2023 celebrations.

It was a pleasure to be invited as a speaker at the International Veterinary Students' Association's 2nd Asian Regional Symposium. The theme for this year was "Horizons of Veterinary Sciences In Asia".

Dr. Prathmesh Deshmukh spoke about Introduction to MRI scans in Neurological patients. It was so good to connect with the budding Veterinarians from different countries and be a part of an interactive students' discussion forum.

Most nights go on with Dr. Prathmesh Deshmukh planning the MRI studies while Dr. Deepti Deshpande, as always, is trusted with critical neuro-anaesthesias.

Pets undergo MRI scans routinely to help us understand the problem they face in either their Brain or Spinal cord. It helps us offer treatment options for them thereafter.

~ They say.. Valentine's Day is incomplete without a diamond. We couldn't agree more when we spent our valentines chasing a diamond studded earring through a pup's tummy. Marley Junior here managed to swallow an earring in a millisecond of it being dropped on the bed. He then spent his day at our clinic being monitored and with our surgeon being on standby being prepared for the worst (surgical removal). The earring kept on moving along his gut which was tracked on X-rays every 7 hours. We all heaved a sigh of relief when he finally pooped it out. #HowVetsSpendTheirValentinesDay
