CRATE AND WAIT!!
Easy to desensitise your dog to a crate..if only its not a jail, its a safe place to rest..
👉🏻positively reinforce being in the crate..choose a lick mat smudged with Chicken paste, cheese, peanut butter over anything that the dog can carry and eat outside
👉🏻Place the crate initially around living room areas where there are people around
👉🏻Do not lock the crate for the longest time when you begin crate training..sense of freedom and keeping the flight option available for the dog creates zero anxiety avoiding bad association with the crate
👉🏻Keep the crate in a cool place..just too hot as of now:)

Put behaviours on Cue!
Easiest way to stop unwanted acts is to teach the dog meaning of those words.
Eg.👉 Dog that jumps on people : put the jump on command.
If your dog knows the meaning of the word 'NO', you can easily club them together into 'NO JUMPING' and the desired behaviour on the No Jumping cue is a simple act of Sit.
👉In video Diamond being a GSD is extremely Vocal..where we cannot or should not try to make a dog “human”, we can put the Speak on command and then No Speaking equally on Cue.

A well socialised dog is one that knows how to read the body language of other dogs and behave accordingly. Meaning if the other dog wants to play, your dog engages in play and if the other dog wants distance then your dog leaves the other dog alone. If that is not happening then we as responsible dog owners should take charge and correct our dog and not just stand there watching dogs engage in rough play/ give corrections and get nipped and have bad memories in the process.

Not all leash reactivity is a serious “Problem”.

Danny keeps barking incessantly when he sees other dogs on his daily walks.
When our dogs have played more than required with other dogs on leashes during their everyday walks, the owner dog bonding during walk time fades and dog to new dog bonding surfaces resulting in this kind of behaviour because leash constraints them and hence frustration builds.. frustration to not being able to reach the other dogs to play with.
