Another success story of pet re-uniting with their owner. Luci owner called on us for her cat relocation from Nigeria to Germany, and we didn’t disappoint.

We ensure Luci was microchipped, updated his Anti-rabies & feline distemper vaccinations and worm treatments. Also, we carried out rabies serology test as required by country of destination (Germany).

He was safely transported via cargo airline to Germany.

Before and after - Cherry eye surgery

CHERRY EYE 🍒 👁 ..

It's important for all new Corso owner's new to this breed be aware of this condition. It’s common in other breed like Neapolitan Mastiff, Bull dogs and small breeds like Lhasa Apso.

Cherry eye is a condition that appears like a very red lump in the inside corner of the eye, or eyes if both are affected

Despite its location and red appearance, this condition does not cause pain but interfere with normal tear production of the eye

Surgery is the most common means of repairing a cherry eye and full recovery is within days

Meet Jojo 👆🏽

Jojo is a 3 year old male Lhasa Apso mix. He was brought to Instavet because he was vomiting for days. His owner was so worried so they initially took Jojo to a neighborhood vet office that treated Jojo for worms.

Jojo continued to have pain so they brought Jojo to InstaVet. Jojo was having pain around his lower abdomen and would arch his back to get relief. After a physical examination, we decided to do an x-ray and the results showed that he swallowed a hard substance. This hard substance obstructed normal flow of his intestinal contents.

Instavet doctors had to perform a surgical procedure called an exploratory laparotomy to help remove the hard substance from the intestine. The hard substance that was removed was a white stone from a flower pot.

The procedure was successful, and Jojo recovered extremely well. He was bouncing around and eating within 4 hours of his surgery. His beautiful nature touched all of our staff and he now has a special place in all of our hearts. We are so pleased he recovered so well. 🐶 💕

Congratulations to Nikki and her mom

helped Nikki achieve her dream of being a mom from day one of her heat period. Ovulation test was conducted to make sure her mating with a fertile male is successful. Ultrasound was carried out to confirm her pregnancy, and to monitor the growth of her babies. At point of delivery, we ensure the babies are delivered naturally with no form of complication

Nikki gave birth to 6 healthy babies and they are all doing great.
