Max is a healthy 3 year old tabby male neutered cat.

He's currently living with older children and dogs plus another cat.

He is brilliant with people and older children. However, he is becoming increasingly aggressive towards our other animals.

He is really funny and lively, loud and talkative, but unfortunately needs to be living somewhere where he is the only cat/animal. He would ideally be an inside cat as when he is outside he hunts anything he can find, including the neighbour's cats!

Hi! My name is Mia, I’m 3 years old (4 years in march) I’m looking for my forever home, due to changed circumstances my loving, caring owner has to give me up. I am timid but also a very loving cat, I’m not a big fan of being around other cats but can tolerate them if they can tolerate me. I don’t do well around kids (they scare me) so I think I would suit being with a couple or someone who likes to live quiet. I need to rehome my beautiful girls. Budgie the little black and white tabby is a year and few days old, very friendly and loveable. She loves playing with your feet. She have been desex and microchip. Trix our eldest tabby girl is 2 years old, she is a friendly , loveable and a big explorer outdoors. Also been desex and microchipped. Both is use to kids have not had any other animals so not sure how they will react. If we can get someone that would be willing to take them together that would be amazing as they are close to one another. We are allocated Nothshore, Brownsbay.

Personality: Please be patient with me as it may take time for me to adjust to you and my new home as I am a little bit shy but once I find my confidence and am assured with my surroundings, my personality shines out and I can be extremely affectionate to you and will want to show you that I love you.

I can be super active and love lots of play. I love to explore into every nook and cranny there is to explore. At times i play with claws and teeth and can get a wee feisty. Once exhausted from play I will happily snuggle up with you. I like to be in the same room and will follow you around the house.
And I cannot resist ear scratches, tummy rubs and will flip onto my back to receive these!

Ideal Home: Adults, should be ok with older children. I thrive best around calm voices. I can be skittish around young children, I get frightened easily when they are around me.
I am best to be kept inside for a few months to get use to my new home before being let to explore outside.

It is with great sadness that I need to rehome my boy Smokey. Please note that this was posted approx 6 months ago and I was lucky to be able to keep him with me in the end but now I am having to leave New Zealand as there is not enough work for me here in my professional field as a scuba instructor.
He was rescued from living under a friends house about 1.5 years ago and made a huge impact on my heart. Leaving him will be devastating so I want to make sure that he has a very loving home.

About him
- Auckland based - in morningside currently.
- seeeeeriously cuddly boy. Intensely so at times.
- approx 3 years old but a biiig boy
- very playful but also lazy as! Generally plays laying down 😅 but also sometimes gets the zoomies and loves chasing his shadow around the house.
- not fussy at all with food. Only wants dry food usually. No interest at all in human food.
- desexed
- unfortunately he became FIV positive before we adopted him but by keeping him inside (happy to provide a litter tray if you need) we have avoided any problems. He needs this care moving forward as he gets up to mischief outside and could become seriously ill if he got an infection.
- Has a weepy tear duct due to scarring in his scrapping days but vet has assured us he’s not even aware of it. He doesn’t like to have it cleaned so we do so only sparingly
- Not suitable for those with other cats. He is amazingly loving around humans (though seems to prefer women) but is not nice to other cats or dogs in our experience.
- Currently all shaved up for summer as he can get a little overheated otherwise.

This is Jack he's a year a half old he's desexed hes better off in a home where he's an only cat as he's constantly picking on my sister's cat located in Henderson west Auckland he's not a fussy eater he will eat almost anything that he is given he loves the jimbos cat meat he's toilet trained so he will let u know when he needs to go outside he's not a pick me up cat so he doesn't like cuddles but he's very playful he loves his belly rubbed he's not a lap but he will very happily sleep on your bed.

Sadly, we have to rehome our beloved Dali. He is approx 3 years old and is neutered.

He would suit a home without young kids, as he has nipped my daughter.

He does not get on with our other female cat either, so it's time for him to find a new forever family.

On his own, he is very smoochy and affectionate. Sleeps at my feet every night.

We will be sad to say bye to this beautiful boy.

Reluctantly in need of new homes due to owner health issues. Hoki..Ginger male 6yrs super affectionate loves cuddles and sleeping on bed.
Dory....tortie/white female 8yrs loves pats not so much cuddles but loves to be near you n is always around.
Hapuka...black/white male is a real dude affectionate can pick up n cuddle but not a great fan.
All fantastic hunters, toilet trained, lovable. Good wth dogs. Would probably suit a quieter house or older kids. Theyre not skitish just wary of new people.

Mila is looking for a new home...
This post is well overdue, but I couldn't bring myself to do it before. We have an older cat and somehow I mistakenly thought that she needed company, but what she got is constant fights.
We ended up with two very unhappy cats and not enough space to keep them safely apart. Mila lives outside and is very independent. Unfortunately, she started her life in a rescue home and never learnt to play nice with other cats. She would be happiest in a house with no other cats (not sure about dogs, we never had one). She’s territorial and will likely try to chase other cats away. She’s fine with humans although after having lived outside for years, she is timid to start with.

✨ LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL HOME ✨

Mama Cat is a young (one vet said 3, one said 18 months, who knows!) tabby-calico cat who’s had a hard life so far and is now safe, off the streets, and looking for her forever home.

She’s been living with me since June after I took in her and her three kittens (who now have forever homes). Now it’s Mama’s turn to find her family!

Mama is a special needs cat, so I’m looking for a very specific type of home and owners who can manage her. Please keep reading if interested.

TEMPERAMENT:

Mama is still learning that humans aren’t so scary, but she’s taken some huge strides in the last few months. She will happily accept pats from you when you’re sitting on the floor (and dribble to show how much she loves it), but will run away and hide if you approach her too quickly. She’s very food oriented so it’s a great tool to use while bonding with her.

Because she is shy, I’d recommend she be kept in one room while she is getting used to her new home as she is quite flighty.

She also will not be suitable for a busy/loud household and with children under 13.

She has not been tested with other animals but would possibly be fine with another confident but gentle cat when properly introduced.

HEALTH:

Mama has no teeth. Not a single one. She unfortunately has a condition that caused her body to attack her gums and her teeth to fall out. To stop this painful process, she had a full mouth extraction in September and has fully healed.

She can eat biscuits and wet food fine. She actually prefers biscuits. However, she will likely need to be an indoor cat, or supervised when outdoors, as she is missing one of the ways to defend herself from other animals.

OTHER INFO:

• She is desexed and microchipped
• She has had her first vaccinations
• She has been indoor only since being rescued and is good at using the litter tray and scratch pads

These 2 beautiful fur babies are in desperate need of a new forever home. They are siblings who get along really well, and we want them to stay together.
Buddy is the big brother (Ginger) and is very affectionate and smoochy.
Nike is the younger sister, she is a little more shy but once she knows you she is fine.
They have been de-sexed and had regular vet visits.
We love them both very much, and we are only re-homing them because we are moving house and can’t take them with us.

Meet Tom and Jerry 😊
Both about 6 years old, vaccinated, neutered males.
Tom has the white squiggle on his nose, Jerry has the white triangle.

Both Tom and Jerry are large cats (about 5-6kg!) but are very loving and smoochy.

Both are quite timid at first, and would prefer a quieter house with no dogs (kids fine, but they may take their time to settle if there’s lots of noise).

Tom loves nothing more than a sofa to sleep on or a lap for strokes. Jerry loves strokes, but is a bit more independent - although doesn’t say no to a comfy bed and a place to explore!

Both these cats are being rehomed due to their owner experiencing significant mental health and addiction issues, meaning he can no longer care for them. They are currently in foster care in Kaitaia, but I am happy to discuss transport with anyone who is keen to adopt them.

Both boys would suit being kept inside for a month or so to acclimatise to their new home - both are litter trained.

Looking to rehome so Lettie can live her best life.
This is Lettie, she is approx six years old.
Unfortunately she does not like our dog and would love to be the only animal of the house.
She is a very sweet cat and would love a bed to sleep on at night but the jealous dog won’t allow ☹️.
She likes to stay inside most of the time but also loves to sunbath on the deck. She uses a litter box. When you pat her she head butts your hand and would become very affectionate if she felt safe and secure.
She is desexed and deflead and will be up to date with vaccinations upon adoption.
If anyone is looking for a sweet little cat that will thrive in the right environment then Lettie is it.

Meet Ari. She is the friendliest smoochiest girl when she finds her person. She is intelligent and can be quite independent and active but also loves to be around people. She is 8 years old and would suit a home with no other animals or children.

Due to moving circumstances we are unable to look after our cats of 7 years Harley male (ginger cat) is very friendly and loving cat, he loves cuddles and is very affectionate. Kiki female (white/grey) loves pats but hates to be picked up. Other than that she’s very friendly. It is with great sadness we are unable to take care of them anymore and I’m wanting them to go to a loving home but it’s hard to find that when it’s such a short time we have to get rid of them 😞

She is a beautiful girl with piercing green eyes, very well looked after and about 4 years old. Super friendly, snuggly and house trained. Never bites or scratches even when his little (human) brother chases him!

We are very sadly wanting to adopt Mikey out to a loving home where he will get the attention he deserves. We have recently moved houses and also have a baby that, since becoming mobile/loud is stressing Mikey out. Mikey would suit a home with either no children or older children.

Meet Maggie.

Maggie and I met about 4 years ago when she was living in an abandoned house next door and had had a litter of kittens. I got the kittens rescued, Maggie was TNR'd and then I began to feed her. She was very timid but over time we have formed an amazing bond and she is now living her best life as an indoor cat.

Once Maggie builds trust with someone her personality really shines. She absolutely loves affection, sleeping on laps, being brushed and games with her toy mice. She is very talkative and loves to bring her mice to show you.

Maggie is around 6 years old, has no health issues that I am aware of although she is missing a few teeth. This does not effect her eating. She is desexed but not microchipped. Maggie would need a new owner who is willing to put in a bit of effort to help make her feel comfortable in her new home and to gain her trust. She is an absolutely beautiful cat and I am so sad to be losing her 😭

Ava has been part of a loving family for 5 years, however, the family is moving into the only house they can get in their area in Cooks Beach, which is a Kiwi Sanctuary. Needless to say they don’t allow any cats. The family has no other choice but to ask that somebody take her in. She is not a lap cat, but is friendly. She likes a quieter house with no little children. She is desexed and microchipped, but will need to have her annual vaccination. The family is under pressure as they’ve been put out of their house as the landlord want to move back, and therefor needs to find a home within the next 3 weeks. Please consider taking her in, that will give the family peace of mind to know that she is loved and looked after. Although she is white, she is not death or blind and is therefore in her happiest element if she can move around outside in open spaces.

This is Sparky, she is about 4 years old, spayed and fully vaccinated. She was hand reared after her litter were found in a shipping container.
My parents aren't in a position to look after her any more so we need to find a new family for her.

Sparky has a unique character, she is very friendly and likes a cuddle on the bed or outside, but she can also be a grump if there are other cats around or if somebody is doing something annoying.
She doesn't go well with other cats so she would ideally be your only cat.
Full disclosure, when she's really enjoying a cuddle she gets a dribble on.

We just want her to find a good home with people who will love her and look after her properly. I will happily bring her to her new family, to make things easier. Located Red Beach.

My name is Bentley
I am a 13 year old tabby boy needing a new home urgently as my Mum is moving to Aussie and can't take me with her! She's heartbroken but is determined to find me a furever home before she goes!
I'm a shy boy and first but after a little while I'm a cuddle monster - smooches and belly rubs are my favourite. I'm food focused, so you can definitely win me over with treats.
I'm house trained and get along okay with other cats, not a fan of dogs as I'm older and like to lie in the sun and not be pestered - life goals are sleep, eat, laze, repeat! I love being able to go outside, I get a bit blue if I'm stuck inside, so I love my cat door.
I come with my food, litter box (for the rehoming time I need to stay inside), scratch post and food bowls.
I'm in good health - I have a few teeth left, but doesn't stop me chomping on my bickies!
Please help me find a new home!
