PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL
Our next puppy classes are due to start in June.
Puppy pre-school caters for puppies 8 weeks to 16 weeks. The course runs for 5 weeks and costs $100.
Classes are held on a Monday or Thursday evening at 6.15 pm at the Balclutha Clinic.
Classes for older puppies or adult dogs can be arranged if there is enough interest. Phone 03 418 1280 and ask for Michelle if you have any questions or to register your interest.

It’s official we have now rehomed 2000 cats and kittens!

Thanks to everyone who has helped us along the way by donating or giving the cats and kittens a loving home.

“Stumpy” went to his new home on Friday and since we have had a number of kittens come to us for rehoming so if you are looking for a furry friend to join your household give us a call 😻🐈

We have a very special kitten looking for his forever home. “Stumpy” as he has been nicknamed for obvious reasons will be our 2000th rehome since we started in 2005. He came to us a few weeks ago with an injured back leg. Due to the injury the best option for him was to amputate the remainder of the leg. His surgery was on Friday and he is recovering well and is now looking for someone to take him home and love him. If you think he’d be the perfect fit in your household give us a call on 03 4181280 between 8am-5.30pm.

Stray Kitten 🐈‍⬛😺

Make sure you dose your duck dogs atleast 48hrs before duck shooting. Call into Clutha Vets to get your worm tablets!

It’s great so many farmers let us hunt on their land and we can return the favour by helping keep sheep safe from sheep measles. Sheep measles is caused by a tapeworm, hosted by dogs. It only takes one infected dog to cause a sheep measles outbreak. Ensure all dogs are dosed with Praziquantel at least 48 hours (and within a month) before you arrive at the Maimai.

Found Cat

LIFE SKILLS CLASS.

Do you have a young dog that needs to improve on behaviours such as walking nicely on the lead, recall and learning to settle etc? Having an adolescent dog can be frustrating as they can often struggle to listen and settle, we can help them by teaching them the skills they need to navigate our busy world. We are looking to run classes on a Monday evening, (time to be confirmed) for dogs aged between 5 months and 2 years. Our next Puppy Pre School class will be starting at 6.15pm on Thursday 18th April at the Balclutha clinic. This will be for puppies 8-16 weeks old. Their 1st vaccination is required. If there are enough people unable to make a Thursday class we will also run a class on Monday evenings.
