Pre training/fitness work for race horses
Naughty behaviour issues
Yearling prep

We have a horse and pony stud in West Melton and have many years experience dealing with all types of horses. With having great facilities means we are able to have a safe and horse friendly environment where we can work and care for your horses.

We love producing our own horses and ponies but now we have down sized we are finally able to offer our services to the public.

Here is one of my own young ponies that I have quietly been bringing on. She had only been ridden about 4 times out in the big arena and has done a few strides of canter. Took her to the beach for her first outing. I couldn’t be any more proud. Went for a nice canter along the beach and she wasn’t to fazed about going into the water either.

Had a nice ride at the beach today on mike a pony that I have been working for a week. First time at the Beach and had him going in the water. Such a lovely young pony!

First proper ride in 2 years for this race horse. He is here to be brought back into work and to get his fitness up so they can trial him again. I might have to steal him and turn him into a jumper 🙈

Posh!! A lovely pony I had the pleasure of working for a week. For her fourth ride I decided to take her to the beach and she loved it. She also just scanned in foal to our lovely Black Connemara stallion mid night legend! I’m sure they will have a stunning foal😊

Thinking about putting my much loved horse on the market😔 he deserves to be out competing and I need to down size my own horses and focus on my business. If anyone knows of someone who might be interested let me know! 15.2hh, 10year old stationbred jumped to 1.10 good to do everything with and loves xc jumping.

I also have a 4 year old welsh pony 11.2hh. Really cool pony has a great jump currently being ridden by kids everyday would be a awesome second pony for a kid that wants to go out and have fun.

I miss breeding and breaking in little ponies but unfortunately we no longer have any left ☹️ if anyone has a pony they want broken in I will soon have space for one. I love making ponies safe for kids to enjoy them 😊

Connie is by the pure Arabian stallion that Sue Fowler owned Ellen B R Rated. He is now deceased. ted Phipps bred her from the Lakes Station and she is out of a tb made.

She is 13 years old aprox 15hh. Broken in and was a farm hack, was also trained for endurance but didn't stay sound doing 100km rides. She hasn't been ridden in a couple of years. Good to do everything with float/truck, worm, trim hooves etc.

She has had one stunning foal to our riding pony stallion last year.
Selling as a broodmare so up to buyer if they want to ride her. There is an option to put her in foal to one of our 5 stallions.

Missy!!
14.1hh 8 year old mare. Half Arabian, half station bred. lovely nature good to do everything with. She is broken in but is currently turned out at our grazing down the road.
Jumped up to 70cm
Ridden bare back, been to mcleans island, selwyn equestrian and road rides. She needs a confident rider that's not going to let her away with anything.
She does have some quirks which is why she needs an experienced rider she is in no way dangerous. She knows how to work in a frame. Can be forward moving until she is in full work. Her worst quirk is can poor when tied up and sometimes doesn't want to stand still when getting on. Pretty much all of this stuff goes away when she is in full work.

Unfortunately she had been in and out of work for the past few years due to being to busy with others. She will be a great we alrounder project for someone over winter to get back into work so she will be ready to compete in summer.
Missy is a cute pony that is waiting for a younger riding to bond with!
Selling out of work!! Or I will bring her back into work in spring when I have more time and price will increase.

I was lucky enough to break in tonto a pony we bred. We took him on his first outing on the weekend. His owner was able to ride him and he was perfect! Breagha was very happy with him 😊
