I have been referring these a lot over the last couple of months so thought I should share here too
These dental kits are easy to use and help keep on top of good oral health. They DO need consistency which means you should be using every day or every second day.
As always, I’m here to help and show you how to use them!

With our youngest daughter about to start school (crazy right?! 🥹) I am opening up my books again.
I have recently moved and have set up my grooming studio from home.
Please get in touch if you would like to book in - unfortunately I do only have limited spaces and will require the dogs to be on a regular schedule

✨ Hi Everyone ✨
After much thought, I have decided to take a step back from grooming full time and focus more time on my lovely little family who are growing up way too quickly!
This means that I am no longer able to take any new clients or bookings.

Yesterday marked one year of my opening on Main Road 🤩 it’s been an incredible year with lots of happy pooches, big and small, and a roller coaster ride through Covid!
None the less - it was amazing!

HOW DO I GROOM A DOUBLE COATED DOG⁉️ firstly, with love!! The sound of the blower and the height of the table can often frighten dogs so it’s important to make sure their they are content and comfortable with the process! After their shampoo, condition and comb, I blow out the dead undercoat. This blower is much more powerful than your standard hair dryer and also has temperature control. The blowing process takes about an hour and results in a VERY furry floor!!! But it leaves the coat looking bright, healthy, and most importantly, even! It is hard to not get caught up with the huge variety of grooming tools out there. There are many hand tools which will shorten the time but will actually cut the coat, leaving your dog with an uneven and patchy look. Thank you to our handsome boy Jock for his modelling today! Believe it or not, this was his first ever groom!! ❤️🐾❤️🐾
I grew up in the beautiful Tauranga but spent six years on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland after leaving high school. While in Australia I became a qualified Veterinary Nurse and gained unforgettable experience in the racehorse industry where I worked at an equine surgical practice.
I returned to Tauranga in late 2015 with hopes to give my daughter the kiwi upbringing which I was so lucky to have! I have since had our second daughter and the pair of them are my greatest motivators!
Since returning, I have gained experience and skills as a small animal nurse and the Practice Manager of a Veterinary hospital which I enjoyed tremendously. This experience not only taught me essential handling skills and to identify and understand sickness and illnesses, it more importantly showed me that every dog IS different and they all do have preferences in how they are handled!
I pride myself on being gentle and loving to all the dogs which come under my care. This means, no drying cages, no kennels and no muzzles. I offer one on one care while grooming your pet, with regular play breaks, pats or treats if required which frequently means they do not want to leave! If you have a particularly nervous pet or are unable to bring them to me, I can arrange to come to you.
Morning, evening, week day or weekend I am available to make your pets grooming experience a positive one!
