Last week was Wolfie we had to say our goodbye's too. Wolfie the singing Huskey keept us all entertained. Very handsome and sweet boy! Marbles and Daisy the sweetest cat duo also left to reunite with their families. All a pleasure to care for.

We have said our goodbyes to the sweet Maximus and the daring Flooky. The very affectionate Butter. Also the playful Sally and Charlie. It was a pleasure to have had you all with us.

Sweet Heng left to reunite with her family in Australia and we wished her all the best. Heng was always a very busy girl in the cattery and we will miss her adventerous nature.

We said farewell to the lovely Yogi, Yogi flew to Australia to reunite with her family after her 180 day stay with us. We will miss Yogi and her playful nature and sweet face.

Our first 180 day leavers for 2024! The sweet Charlotte, dramatic Lai Lai, happy David, qwerky Lola and handsome Ollie all left QPS on the 9th for Australia and their families. All will be missed and were a pleasure to care for.

Merry Christmas!

We wish to thank all of our lovely clients and their pets for another great year and we look forward to seeing you either in the next few weeks or in the new year.

We are fully booked through to early next year and will be taking bookings from the 15th January onward.

Our office is closed on the stat days but otherwise we are open and operating 😀
If you are trying to reach us please email rather than ring as we are busy but will get back to you!

The adorable Frank and the sassy Catherine were both farewelled from QPS to reunite in Australia with their families. Frank was a wee superstar and Catherine was adorable in her own way. Both will be missed.

Wander, Hazel, Pip, Schnoodley Moo Moo, Tigger, Harry Palmer you were all a pleasure to care for. Always entertaining and so sweet.

Rusty we will miss your smile. You are a little live wire with a huge personality! Adorable wee boy, a pleasure to look after.

Congratulations to Goppy, Peanut and Dollar, For completing their 180 days in NZ with us at QPS before heading to their new homes in Australia. As you were our first long stay pets we were sad to let you go but happy to reunite you with your families!

Goppy - you were such a pleasure to look after with your sassy and sweet personality.

Peanut - We will miss your cute corgi self! Also a pleasure to have and look after.

Dollar - The beautiful and silly Dollar always entertaining us and a delight to have in the cattery.

Hope you are all keeping safe. Just a friendly reminder with Covid cases on the rise we are still continuing to do all pick ups and drop offs outside to ensure we keep all our staff safe.

Hello lovely people,

Just a quick update on Doggy Day Care, we have decided that we are no longer going to be offering our Doggy Day Care services.

We are however focusing on our boarding and quarantine facilities and are still here to look after your cats and dogs while you head away on holidays.

There has also been a change in our hours, our office will be open:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Drop off and Pick up 8:00am-10:00am and then 2:00pm-3:30pm

Saturday and Sunday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Drop off and Pick up times 8:00am-10:00am and then 2:00pm-3:00pm

We are all looking forward to seeing you and your pets when they come to stay.

Happy Last Day of 2021!

This year has been a little crazy with lots changes. We want to thank you all for your support over the past year and continued support for 2022. We have been very busy over the Christmas period looking after lots or gorgeous pets while you all spend some well deserved time away.

Hope you all have a wonderful New Year and we will see you all in 2022!

Covid-19 Traffic Light System Update:

QPS will still be maintaining a contactless system for pick up and drop off of pets coming into boarding.

When arriving to pick up or drop off please phone us on 09 299 9539 to notify us of your arrival and someone will be out to collect or bring you your pet as soon as possible.

This process will remain for the Chtristmas/New Years break and we will reasses next year.

Hello lovely people,
Sorry we have been a bit AWOL over the past few months we have still been flat out taking care of lots of animals and keeping our staff safe.

We have decided at this time that we are not going to reopen doggie day care this year. This is something we are going to review in the New Year and will update you all.

We are however now available for domestic boarding as per normal with a few small differences.

Please ensure you scan our QR code when entering the premises.

Staff Dogs of the Week 🐾

Delta the Rottweiler and Tilly the Belgian Malinois, belong to Carol and Ian and are spoiled rotten!

These two are characters, Delta is a sook and loves spending her time curled up in bed, loves food and belly rubs! She enjoys playing with Tilly and anything involving a ball.

Tilly is full of beans she comes to work most days with Carol she loves toys and people and like to make sure the staff aren't hiding any snacks from her. When Tilly gets home from work Delta gets so excited to play with her sister.

This is Roo, she has been with us for over 3 months now. She originally came from Malaysia for quarantine and then we had the pleasure of looking after her until she could be sent to Australia to be reunited with her Mum.

Roo is an absolute character and has become part of the team here at QPS. We are going to miss her happy dance at breakfast time and her telling us when we are taking to long to give her dinner.

We are so happy she has been reunited with her Mum and im sure she is going to enjoy soaking up the sun on the Gold Coast. 🐾

Staff Dog of the Week 🐾

This is Zeus he belongs to Georgia one of our animal attendants.
Zeus is 6 years old and was a birthday present for Georgia's 18th Birthday.

He has very selective hearing but knows the word biscuit from a mile away. He loves cuddles and likes to be right there and has no such thing as personal space. No social distancing for this gorgeous boy.

Zeus is currently hanging out with his Grandma in the UK while Georgia is exploring New Zealand.

Staff dog profile!

Since we are not going to be having good dog of the week for the next couple of Tuesdays we thought that we would share staff dogs!

This is Bailey she belongs to Tish and her partner Matt.

Bailey was adopted from the SPCA on 26 JUL 2020. At best guess she is a Kelpie x Staffy. She had a bit of a rough start to life which resulted in her back leg being amputated but that doesn't stop her from zoomies or running at the beach. Bailey goes to work most days with Tishs partner and she makes sure all the boys are working hard.
Bailey is a bit of a clown and is a million miles an hour
