It has come to our attention that a client had an argument with our reliever veterinarian today.
They were insisting to have their newly acquired puppy vaccinated today. However, the attending veterinarian refused to do so.
This is because we have a "one-week observation protocol" that applies to all newly acquired patients. One week is needed to make sure that the pet is healthy, and no disease is incubating. It is also important so that the pet has enough time to adjust to a new environment.
Vaccination can be a stressor, therefore, doing it during the observation period will only make the patient more stressed.
Besides, the attending veterinarian has the right to decide whether to vaccinate or not based on his assessment and judgment.
The male client said, "Paka arte naman, nasan ba yung doctor na nandito talaga? Yung doctor talaga."
For your information, sir. Linsensyadong doctor talaga ang nakausap nyo. You do not have the right to bad-mouth our reliever veterinarian as if he is not a real veterinarian.
Yes, you are free and can always go to another clinic that has a different protocol. But you are never free to return to our clinic because of your rude manner.
Wala kayong respeto. πππ
