SSDP-Sustainable Socioeconomic Development Programme Empowering the freedom of women and children through education and vocational training! With education, we can all be free!

Sustainable Socioeconomic Development Programme (SSDP) is a non-profit non-governmental organization registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860 and social welfare department with a focus in all districts of KPK and FATA region. It is engaged in multiple sectors including health, sanitation, safe drinking water, education, vocational training, women empowerment, renewable energy, infrastructure

development, agriculture, livestock, and irrigation and relief activities in disaster hit areas. Objectives:
• To improve literacy rate particularly female literacy in the rural areas through
awareness, education and building of schools.
• To introduce adult literacy programmes especially for women.
• To empower women through gender training programmes.
• To provide healthcare facilities in the un-served and underserved areas by
arranging medical camps, establishment healthcare centers, dispensaries and
hospitals.
• To develop skilled workforce through vocational training programmes and
establishment of vocational training institutions.
• To encourage the special/disabled persons to take part in the society.
• To develop livestock and enhance livestock productivity through awareness,
education, improved animal healthcare, networking and institutional building
through the participation of target groups.
• To develop and promote renewable energy technologies, particularly solar
system for the electrification of buildings, drinking and irrigation
• To create awareness about hygiene issues and diseases, improve maternal care
and decrease infant mortality rate.
• To provide access to safe drinking water in the rural areas.
• To provide access to sanitation in the rural areas.
• To improve physical infrastructure such as building roads in the remote rural
areas through community participation.
• To provide recovery, relief and management services in the terrorism hit or
disasters hit areas.
• To co-operate and coordinate with other charitable trusts, societies, associations,
institutions or Societies formed for all or any of these objects and statutory authorities operating or similar purposes and to exchange information and advice with them.
