They have some amazing adaptations in their eyes that make them fantastic hunters, even in low light.

Night vision:
Cats have way more rods in their retinas compared to humans. Rods are great at picking up on dim light, giving cats that impressive night vision.

Peripheral vision:
Their eyes are positioned on the sides of their head, giving them a wider field of view – almost 200 degrees compared to our 180 degrees. This lets them see much more around them without having to move their head.

However, their close-up vision (acuity) isn't as sharp as ours. They also don't see a wide range of colors like we do. But their other senses, like smell and hearing, come in handy for those close-up situations.
