Our Story

MATILA ORGANICS — a family farm and agribusiness with a vision of creating self-reliant and environmentally conscious food systems in urban areas of Tanzania. We value what we eat, how it’s grown and provisioned, and support local markets. We use natural agro-inputs (manure + fertilizer mix) that we make in our farms and source good quality seeds. Our products are ethically sourced from local farmers, we process them in our home industry and supplied raw and free of additives/artificial chemicals. Some of our packaging is recycled, and often reusable. We collaborate with other local farmers and agribusiness who value sustainable practices. Our clients include households, schools, restaurants, and offices
