Dream Catcher Farm is a picturesque horse center nestled in the foothills of Sugarloaf Mountain located in Adamstown, Maryland.

The farm is easily reached from Route 270, Route 80 or Route 28. Facilities include a 29-stall barn with wash stall and tack room, an indoor riding ring, an outdoor ring, and spacious paddocks. Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation riders learn and train under the tutelage of the farm’s owner and trainer, Melinda Cohen, whose experience ranges from teaching children and adults how to ride through prepari

ng students and horses for “A” shows. Trail riders can take advantage of miles of trails in the adjacent Sugarloaf Preserve.

The Dream Team had a fabulous week at Loudoun Benefit! Lots of clear rounds and riding improvement! Classes were huge and competition was fierce.

The Dream Team continued their success today in the jumper ring!
Ellen Elyard Hanne Andersen Elyard and Gia Car and Aubrey and Cadre Romantic earned blues in the .80 jumpers! While Arwen Nanson and Kat earned third place and Chrissy Green and Laconia earned sixth place in the 59 person Low Adult jumper speed class!

Our babies were all fantastic earning blue ribbons with Aidan Fullerton in all of their rounds!

Jessica Henningsen and Henry were 🔥 in the 1.20!

And the Adult Dream Team dominated the adult jumper ribbons in the Lows!

The Dream Team started the season off in style @ St. Christopher’s with Aidan awarded the jumper style award.
Championships were won by Gia Car (1.0m) Second Flight (1.15m) and Bogota Car (Amateur jumper)!
Reserve championships were honored to Carqui (1.10m) and Glamorous (2’ USHJA Hunter)!
Fabulous riding by Ellen Ellyard and Victoria Arnold!
And the mom duo of Bogota Car and Brooke Mallin brought home the Mother’s Day Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic win! Good luck to our team next week at Blue Rock.

Rounding out the week of great trips! Ellen Ellyard had some wonderful rides on Gia Car in the .65m; Bisquit earned some top ribbons in the competitive 2’3” hunters

And S&L Sage finished 7th in the WEC Future’s Grand Prix!!!
