The only two things our property didn’t have on our wish list, when we bought it last year, was a riding arena and a luxurious master bath. Thanks to Shane Doyle Farms, our ring was completed last fall and we started in November on the 16’ x 16’ addition. The old bathroom was 5‘ x 5‘, and the new one is above and beyond our wildest dreams. A huge shout out Jason Jones of Euphoria Construction for our fabulous master suite.

Ignatia LJS had her 7th ride with Brian and it seems the sky is the limit. Higher fences at a faster pace was easy peasy. She truly loves to jump. After every ride, Brian laughs and says he can’t believe this “small mare” (16 hands) jumps with this much talent, heart and power. Thank you to Brian Gjetley, for another fun school with Iggy. After warm up in stadium, we went out onto the beautiful cross country course at Dara Knot Farm. Before today, Iggy has only schooled cross country about 3 times, years ago. I dare say Iggy has found her niche. Brian feels she could do both Jumpers and Eventing. Ignatia LJS has begun training for her new career as a jumper. This is her third time out, with Brian piloting, and her first time at The Vista. Her sire was a successful GP jumper, and Iggy was 3rd for jumpers in ALL of North America at her 6 month old inspection. I love her, but the dressage ring (although she is schooled through 4th level) is not the best fit for her happiness. I hope to find her the perfect new home. Lazy J Sporthorses - LJS Sporthorses

Huge shout out to Cam from Dogmanity PetAcademy for working with Harley and me at CWF. Harley is not only handsome, but super intelligent. Cam has been working with us to ensure we both are good citizens! The training to have Harley to down and stay, no matter what’s going on around us (ie. when Ms Ignatia has a fiery moment…) is awesome. Looking forward to the next level of his training in Basic Deterrent Dog skills.
