Black Forest amenities

Welcome to Black Forest Equestrian center, a premier Equestrian facility in Aiken SC. Black Forest is a 500 acre farm with ~150 acres of pasture and ~350 acres of woods that include miles and miles of trails. Our amenities include a covered arena with GGT footing and mirrors, an outdoor arena, and a large jump field. In addition to our riding facilities we offer a 20 stall main barn and a secondary barn with 12 additional stalls. We offer a variety of care options from full care with blanketing/grooming/retirement care to self care and either stall with pasture turn out or full pasture board.

Our farm is totally solar powered now! Happy Earth Day!
I encourage all horse farms and homeowners to consider solar panels. Just a fraction of our arena roof has panels and they provide enough power for the house, barn, out buildings, three wells etc and we sell power back. Hope in the future to have a electric car that would effectively be truly solar powered.  And electric tractors are coming along. On a smaller scale everyone can try not to waste anything, compost, and recycle. Even down to using one paper towel when you dry your hands  in a public restroom. I see so many people grabbing way more than they need, it all matters!

TOP QUALITY TIMOTHY HAY FOR SALE, $13.25/bale

We just received a tractor trailer load of beautiful Timothy (some bales have a little Orchard mixed in). We are selling part of the load so that we are not storing it too long in our humid environment. Plan to continue bringing in hay from this farmer on a frequent basis. Beautiful good sized bales, you are welcome to come look first.
